How would I install multiple instances of this Chatbox? Do I just change the variable names?

Is this chatbox Heavy for a forum ?
I am using dragonbytes chatbox but when it's getting busy on my website i get problems with the speed of the forum till i turn the chatbox off.

So i am looking for a lite one that doenst kill my server.

Yes, any chatbox is 'heavy' for a forum if it gets used. Either configure it as a shoutbox, or consider a hosted solution such as Official AddonChat Product.

Does anyone know why the chatbox will not work on my subdomain?

For instance, the chatbox works fine on mysite.com/page/chatbox

However, it does not work on chatbox.mysite.com (even when this points to the directory above)

It says "Loading..." and never loads.

I have the same problem, but I dont understand how to do that you are writing?

Im using Swedish as main language.

Edit: I found it, but when I remove the % my forum time and date are so wrong :(

When I type in the chat does not show anything, but tells me when it shows "latest posts since last visit" or use "Search"

Hello. I love this chat mod so far, but I have a problem. I tried to upload a new template and it seemed to install just fine, but when I tried to use it I had issues with buttons and text not showing correctly in both the forum and in the chatbox. I tried to uninstall the template but it didn't help. I cleared my cache and restarted the machine...no better. Since this is a new forum that I'm setting up (migrating from SMF) I hadn't done a backup yet, so I decided to start from scratch. I deleted the forum, the database, and everything else I could think of. I then did a completely fresh install. To my suprise, this fixed the problems with the forum, but the problems persist with the chatbox. Can anybody think of what could be causing this? I'm running 4.0.8 .

Edit: this is what I'm getting with IE8 and it shows no errors. Firefox shows "new" on the left where the folder icons should be and the Smilies button shows okay.

right click on those missing images and see what the path is ..

The "new" is /images/statusicon/post_old.gif
The "smilies" is /images/editor/smilie.gif

The images are there, but they are in .png form. Can I change the path leading to them or should I just upload .gif versions?
