waiting for update!!!

in IE i am getting a white screen, refreshing the page doesn't help much either...very rarely does the white screen go away and the video actually works.

in firefox everything works perfect!

this is a great hack, am looking forward to it working perfect on all browsers. please give us an update!!

I had a situation that has been described by several others in this thread. I thought I installed everything but I did not see the anymedia options on the user permission screen. The issue for me was that I unpacked the files in the vb root and had them unzipped to their recursed directories. As a result I had an "upload" directory full of files that belonged one level up. I moved those files to their true homes and I can now see the anymedia options in the user permission screen. Tom

I had a problem with version all version before this newest 3.0.4 version. Did another fresh install of this. and Boom works perfectly on the first try.

I definately DO NOT want that - if Crist does it, I hope it comes with an option to disable it.


Unless the new version comes with the ability to only allow certain usergroups to use the media function.
i don't want to open a thread, realize I am downloading 300 MB of audio, and then have to edit every post to find out which jerk did it!!!!!

OK, I just upgraded to 3.6 and I can't seem to figure this out - I edited all the templates, imported the hack, and my forum is not parsing the [media] code.

Any ideas?

nevermind - I rebuilt my forum info and post cache and it seems to be working great :)

Ok, sorry to jump on you - I have a hard enough time trying to convince my members that it's a BAD thing to embedd 6 videos in one thread LOL!
