I've problem with this thing.

I installed it on the forums. Yesterday everything was fine. I added 1 youtube video and this mod worked and converted it into player.

Today one of the members added video ... but its not converting into video. Why is that happening ?

Problem Solved. I reinstalled it.

You need the updated definitions from the add-on thread linked above. The default defs aren't being update at this time.


Yes, check the add-on for the JW Player and check the other add-on which includes defs for local hosted media.


If your using the default def, it's a bit out of date and may not work for all links. Try installing the most updated definition from my thread and re-editing posts that did not convert initially.

Does this display Thumbnails first for youtube videos similar to Goldbrick? That was one thing I REALLY liked about goldbrick was the clickable thumbnail from Youtube that also displayed the link title and opened the video in view in the center of the screen. Otherwise your video has to be dependant on the width of your thread template. Deal breaker IMO. Does this mod have that ability?

for posting videos in your forum you have to post the url of the FB videos inside your message and it will be embed automatically..
