if the user can drag stuff around on their home page when why do they need to define which column a module appears in? - this seems contradictory.

can they only drag within a column?

I am looking for real drag and drop like I have on my google personal home page.

thanks in advance.

That screenshot in the link you provided is within the Zadmin, the Admin Panel. You in essence set a default layout for your users, but then they can change it around or add other blocks that are enabled to use but not on the default layout.

It is a real drag and drop. Your users can drag blocks up and down a column or over to other columns. They can have just one column of blocks or they can have three columns, it's all left up to how they drag and drop 'em.

If you are curious to see how it works from a user perspective, I suggest you join Zoints and play around; you'll find ZL quite similar.

Not that we're not looking into this, but have you also talked to the support staff at vBSEO and asked if they have any ideas as to the cause of the issue?

just one more question then - if a user does not want a particular block (or blocks) to display can they suppress the display of that block?

thanks again.

How do you uninstall zoints?

3.7 profiles are easier to customize. Can edit the software coding(too complex)

*edit*

nevermind..

Absolutely. A user could add all the blocks that are available for selection or as few as they like, it's up to them and very customizable in how it all appears (the name of the block, the style, etc.)

When I run the install I get: "You must be an administrator in order to access this page."

I am already in admin panel and then paste /z/install/index.php in the end of url. So I dont se why the install cant identify me as admin?

EDIT:
I followed these instructions:

There are a few things to try, in this order:

A. Obviously make sure you're logged in with an admin account.

B. Cookie domain

1. Go to your vBulletin admincp

2. Process to vBulletin options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options

3. Under "Cookie Domain" > Suggested Settings - select .yourdomain.com

Save and see if that helps.

C. Execute this query:

Code:
UPDATE zp_user SET usergroup = usergroup | 8 WHERE userid = xWhere x is your numerical userid.

D. Create another temp admin account and login with that to do the install.
Now I cannot log in the admin panel ?????????

It says welcome username and then go back to admin login page without logging in..

Hey orkyn,

I haven't fully tested it (I am on 3.68 for my local forum), but Zoints LOCAL by all accounts does work with 3.7x just fine. The worst thing I could think of that might not work would be some of the automatic template edits, which of course could be done manually if that was the case.

For the next update there will be a version designed for 3.7x.
