Puntal

akanevsky 05-18-2006 05:38 PM

The lite version has just a couple of template modifications. The expanded version has expanded versions of those plus a couple more.

Stone Cold 3:16 05-28-2006 02:11 AM

I have the expanded version, when i upload the product and goto a thread, i get the following:

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.4:

Invalid SQL:

Make sure you've got the latest release with the older functions.php code removed.

Stone Cold 3:16 05-28-2006 03:03 AM

Hold on, i installed a new version not 2.5.4. Im too lazy. I installed it, when i goto a topic, now i get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cache_thanks() in /home/wfz/domains/prowrestlingstop.com/public_html/showthread.php(819) : eval()'d code on line 6

Well, which version did you install?

Stone Cold 3:16 05-28-2006 12:36 PM

2.0.1

akanevsky 05-28-2006 12:42 PM

Well, you should be installing the latest release, because 2.0.1 is outdated.

Stone Cold 3:16 05-28-2006 05:29 PM

OK. I uninstalled the product, and replaced the files with the actual vb files. I still have this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: parsehide() in /home/wfz/domains/prowrestlingstop.com/public_html/includes/class_postbit.php(270) : eval()'d code on line 150

?

akanevsky 05-28-2006 05:35 PM

Have you undone file changes too?

Stone Cold 3:16 05-28-2006 06:37 PM

I downloaded vB from the members area, and replaced the files.

akanevsky 05-28-2006 06:45 PM

It's either of the following:
1) Files
2) Plugins
3) Some 3rd party hack that caches plugins
4) Your browser cache (try CTRL+F5 or CTRL+R)

havefun 05-29-2006 10:08 AM

hi Psionic Vision,

works:
[hide="6"]...[/hide]
[HIDE="6"]...[/HIDE]
[HIDE]...[/HIDE]

doesn't work in small letters... any idea? THX:
[hide]...[/hide]

akanevsky 05-29-2006 01:16 PM

Yes, I see the reason why.
Going to correct that.

Stone Cold 3:16 05-29-2006 01:34 PM

Ever since i installed the expanded version, everything stopped working. AJAX features, and now i get that error. Colin F. told me i need to contact the hack author. He said the error is probably in the table, not the hack table.

As I said, you may have some 3rd party cache hack installed, which causes the problem. If you want me to look at your site and try to figure it out, pm me with your access details.

Stone Cold 3:16 05-29-2006 01:41 PM

I uninstalled every single hack i had in the products section. You think you can fix it?

akanevsky 05-29-2006 02:18 PM

I can attempt. Send me a pm with your admincp and ftp details and I'll look at it.

chandler99 05-29-2006 04:03 PM

i've just installed the extended version of this hack... ran through the whole install instructions and got to the last bit.. the import product xml file and now i get this...

Quote:

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.4:

akanevsky 05-29-2006 04:11 PM

Please carry out support requests for extended version at visionscripts so that I can see that you actually own a license for the extended version.

chandler99 05-29-2006 04:15 PM

ok.. its on it way to you now ;)

akanevsky 05-30-2006 01:24 AM

Thank you. :)

asasi 05-30-2006 02:21 PM

thanks for your great hack.
I have a problem.
when I edit "vbulletin_textedit.js" it couse "code" button in editor not worked correctly.
after this edit if I click "code" button -> ( https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2009/07/3.gif ) will popup a window. Before this if i select a text and press the code button wrap code text around my text.

akanevsky 05-30-2006 06:08 PM

Add "break;" (without quotes) before the code that you add to the .js file.

Sorry, I am unable to help you until you get a license and post a support request where appropriate.

break;
break;
(new code)

worked correctly:banana:
thanks a lot

louis_chypher 05-31-2006 03:14 PM

Installed, works great! Thanks.

Not a bug:

I just started to look into getting this modification to work with the vBJournal. I hope I can figure it out, but is anyone else has figured it out could you give a shout on how you did it?

Figure if I can get it to work in one mod (like vBJournal) I can get it to work in other mods (like User Pages).

hypnoticpimp 06-07-2006 04:39 PM

OMG> Im a paid member. and i hate how it depends on your visionscript site, Cause your site is soo slow, and no my whole forum is slow!. CHange that please, thats so annoying, Members and not even me can access my forum some times , cause its soo slow,

also is there anyway where, you can make the [hide] yourtext[/hide] be swtiched with this tag
[HIDE-THANKS][/HIDE-THANKS]

Cause on my forum, all i use is Hide-Thanks tag, But i Just want it so that when people type in [hide]There text here[/hide] that it means, they have to click on thank you button, instead of it showing ,"how many posts they need to view thread" , cause i dont use that, So please tell me how i can switch it, or to make it work like that

Also Instead of Showing the text" You must click on Thanks Button to Read this post", How can i replace that text with the Hide "Hidden Picture" instead

akanevsky 06-07-2006 05:44 PM

hypnoticpimp,
You are ignoring any information requests and you are uncooperative when it's you who needs help getting the hack to work properly.
If you do not wish to be cooperative, then do not attempt to cause problems, because what I'm going to do is I'm to tell you that you can feel free to request a refund, after which I'm going to ban you from visionscripts.

It's not worth having you as a customer if all you do is cause problems. I hope I made myself understood.

agsguar 06-07-2006 08:46 PM

Hi!! Psionic Vision.

YOUR SERVER ARE DOWN. and this cause that my Forum not working, THIS IS frustrating , please help us!!!!!

This Account Has Been Suspended
Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.

hypnoticpimp 06-07-2006 10:11 PM

Vision,

Atleast im not the only one, who gets noticed your server is down! And look what happens! now that your site is down! my forum redirects to your forum. seriously! what is this? its crazy, you need to change the way you check for keys, have it so that the key will not depend on your site

and 2nd, The hacks you made, do work on my forum, theres no troubleshooting on my side, im just aking for modifications on the code, Did you read my request of the modification m, at the top>? and if you Noticed! the reason why i posted a request here. is because your site is down!

akanevsky 06-07-2006 10:41 PM

You posted the request before my site was down. I'm going to remove homecalls after I figure out the problem with my hosting provider.

hypnoticpimp 06-07-2006 11:44 PM

What is Homecalls? and no i didnt, Your site was soo slow, it took forever to load up!, i had to go here to ask

akanevsky 06-08-2006 12:12 AM

The homecalls are the queries to visionscripts.com that are currently run by each of the script on every load, and that is what's causing the problems. As I said, they'll be removed once I finish moving the site to a new hosting provider.

The Realist 06-08-2006 01:02 PM

Have a good use for this, but this version is to much hassle.

agsguar 06-08-2006 02:15 PM

Hi,! this message is for test only.!

:surprised:

hypnoticpimp 06-08-2006 11:06 PM

when will the new move be done

akanevsky 06-08-2006 11:26 PM

Right now I am waiting for my new hosting provider to activate my account. After that, it'll be a matter one hour.

hypnoticpimp 06-09-2006 03:17 AM

dont you think paid members, should get something out of this, for the downtime, and problems. and making our forums slow, cause right now wheni go to my forum. its not saying my license it invalid, and taking me to a Generate a New License Key page, why is that
