About the english phrases: I've translated them all, but i think, i've made a mistake on that. This will be fixed also, be sure.

No, you will see that every phrase has something like $vbphrase in, in your Gallery Templates...note all those and then go and search the phrases by Variables, then you will be able to translate them, if you want an example go to my gallery.

I have installed it. It's working fine. How can I change the settings so that when I open up a Post in the Gallery, it doesn't show the pictures ALL BIG. Because the default is setup to show the pics BIG and you have to click on the pic for the original size. Is there anyway I set it up so that it automatically displays the original size?

I have no idea, you may have to ask that to the creator of the extension (harald_t) :D

This is something I will try to figure out myself as I find it pretty annoying also, maybe Harald_T will be able to help us out on that one also ;)

wpw, that isn't normal, didn't experience that before...try uninstalling and reinstall after...

if you have a table prefix make sure to add it in to the query.

I installed this and liked it, but had to uninstall because when my users uploaded more than 1 pic it would sort of get messed up. Has anyone found a work around for this yet? (other than to limit 1 photo per msg :squareeyed: )

About more pictures in one post:
I'm aware of this problem and trying to fix it. I think, i've found a solution, but that's theoretical yet.

For changing the phrases a bit faster: Search for all phrases starting with "gal_", that should make it easier.

The BIG size of pictures: I'm aware of this also. What i did was: Showing the pictures with a fix size (for showing bigger pictures it's an easier, but not better way, i know). The problem is that smaller pictures are "blown" up in that way. But i'm looking for a solution on this problem.

@Jarod: Better use the new version of the gallery (included in the zip-file). The version you where using, is the old one.

And could you post your URL, so i could have a look what isn't exactly working?

Is it possible to release a fix to make the edit button show or atleast a brief tutorial on how to fix it It's pretty urgent.

Installed on a fresh vb 3.5.2 and no joy, it works but no images in the showthread etc :S

@Jarod: The included file is the latest. Please contact me by PM, i'll see, what i can do.

@Coliab-d: The reason for seeing no thumbs can be a setting on your vB. Please check your attachments-settings, if vB generates any thumbnails for an attachment. And please check, if GD or Image-Magick is installed.

Harald can I help you figure out a way to allow more than 1 post per
page? To me this hack is better than the other hacks, just because I
don't have to have people posting huge pics in some gallery, and also in the
forums, it's all combined, saving disk space!!! :)

Few things id like to ask, suggest or ask about the hack or the next release..

- Can you create an english and german template file so that we dont have to manually change the phrases?

- Any way to prevent when clicking in the uploaded thread the stretching of images?

- Is this compatible with listing all file types instead of just images? ( i tried with .mp3 and nothing is in the thread)

The english phrases will be definately in the next version. I only did a mistake, when i created the phrases, i believe. Normaly, the english versions should be already inside the phrase, but not as the standard-text, i think.

About the stretched images: This is something to be completly recoded, i fear. It will mean that images which are larger than the width of the forum have to be "downsized" for the displayed image. This is the only way to prevent, that smaller images will be stretched.

- The hack itself should be compatible. As soon, as i have a bit more freetime, i'll do a solution for it.

@Yavyb: Feel free! I think, a solution would be, to display the last attached image of the first post.
