Set Active to "No" in game settings. I'll be adding a feature to get rid of games completely in the Admin CP.

Although even then, you can never get rid of a game automatically - there's always going to be the swf file to delete. The other alternative is to delete the game record from the "games" table in the database.

What about a seperate folder with index.php

Just a small addon one of my members requested earlier.

Description:
All this does is add two stats to your Arcade's main page:
1) Total number of games played.
2) The length of time spent playing them.

There is only one file edit, and one template edit for this hack.

This will add one query to your Arcade homepage. No others. Just that one.

To install Miniclip Snake, upload the following files to your forum:

mcsnake.game.php -> /admincp/mcsnake.game.php

Point your browser to /admincp/mcsnake.game.php. (E.g. http://www.yourforums.com/forum/admi...snake.game.php).
Don't forget to delete the script once you're finished!

Just edit the arcade.php.

For example, edit:
$stats[alltime] .= $days.'d ';
To be:
$stats[alltime] .= $days.' Days, ';
etc etc.

some cool additions would be:

Linking from main persons profile to arcade or even merging
Adding the High scores of every player of every game they play to there profile

One of my members has found a huge weakness/exploit in the Maeda Path game.

At the end of the level there is a little arrow you can click on for a bonus. There is nothing at all to stop anyone from just repeated clicking on that and getting absolutely huge scores. :/

I've tested the exploit and it is there. Anyway to fix it?

John - With regards to my earlier post including that possible fault, the common connection is that it's happening to people who beat the high score on games (not every time though, it's happened roughly 22 times from over 20,000 game plays). I managed to replicate it myself while I was checking the bug mentioned above.

Cheating still required loading some sort of memory editing program or faking POST data, which is beyond the casual user. But still, I included it because some people didn't care, I guess, and wanted to use the old games. Plus it only took about 10 minutes to put it in there, and a new template. Personally, I don't think I'd use it, though!

I've verified/replicated this bug with Maeda Path on my forums.

There's a bug somewhere in your add-on...

Before, as noted in my screen shot, my data read as "Total Plays: 558 Total Time: 1d 22h 44m 36s". Naturally you'd expect that to go up, not down, but mine now reads "Total Plays: 613 Total Time: 1d 1h 7m 11s".

So yea.... it's not working right!

Yep, but don't forget that faking POST data is extremely easy to do - there's no need for a memory editor. Just make a quick POST form with a load of hidden values, submit. (Unless something has changed since the last time I looked at it.)

maeda.swf is updated in the original zip. :)

To update all the changes, you need to download the zip and reupload all of the files. (Don't run install_arcade.php again, though.)

To add the new games, you need to download each zip and follow the instructions.

That's because of the Unregistered user bug, which will be fixed shortly.

Have you got auto-pruning turned on?

About the copter game that was added..... can you make a submit score button please? I dont wanna have the score submitted every time I crash!

Those are merely template hacks, HTML. They would be easy enough to add if you so desired. If you're not sure on your HTML, pay the HTML School a visit. :up:



As for the bug in my mini_stats. The problem has been resolved. Please download the new instructions and rehack. Delete what you added into arcade.php before and add the new code. Cheers.

well. if there isnt no major text included / changed then you can try to reinstall it on the new upgrade.
