i tested the buying of an item. the process works fine. got a PM informing me of the sale but there is an issue with the PM a small spelling error. a \ character in the word don't also the links for accept and reject are wrong. it starts with http://\"http:// and ends with a "

I agree that when an item is in the accept sales tab in the usercp that the choices should be to accept or reject the sale and not reject or delete the sale.

Expiration and automatic deletion is a very good feature. I understand expired ads get deleted after a certain number of days as specified in the settings.

It would be really nice if the person who placed that Classified receives a PM/email when an ad expired and they have the possibility to renew that Classified in their CP or link in the PM/Email.

Since the code already exists in this product, it would be good to leverage it and have a very nice widget.

When I make a test sale and someone agrees to purchase, I get a pm telling me that a user has opted to purchase the item, then I goto the item and it only shows up under pending, and there is no option to sell or accept, just delete or reject. also, there are no sales history or anything. not sure what's going on.

there is a link in the PM to accept sale but the link is wrong.
if you goto your user control panel and on the classified tab there is another tab to accept the sale. i have reported both errors already

It got me 2 full days but finally I succeeded to put under control the incompatibility with non-English characters in listings. Along it this version has some other fixes and some corrections/additions, as per list below:

1. Fixed the problem with non-English characters in listings
2. Added the missing category name in listings
3. Added phrases to listings
4. Corrected and added some missing PMs
5. Added PM to seller when the an Ad is deleting by the system after expiration.

By the way a want to warn you for something very important. By using the datamanager to send PMs, it also activates the vB feature to send an email to user that a PM is waiting him on the forums. But there is a disadvantage here. These emails are sending by the Daily Digets cron, and thus, as the name says, it runs once a day. So if the user waits the emails, most probably will lost many Ads, as someone else maybe has bought before. That's why inform your users to keep an eye on their PM's inbox and don't waith the daily email. Sure you can change this cron to run more often. This is up to you.

To upgrade you must upload ALL files, as there are many changes. Finally import the product-microclassifieds.xml

As it's impossible to follow all posts before, if after upgrading to ver.5.1.1, you still have problem with something, please post it again. But please only bugs and not design issues, much more not suggestion for new features. First, let's have a 100% stable version and then we will have time for everything else.

Found one possible bug:
When you sort in advanced search (pushing the arrows up/down). Everything seems to be okay. If you do the same within a category, it gives following error:

ok this might be a carry over bug from ver 4 but if the seller rejects the sale the item is still given a standby code of 1 instead of resetting to 0 and a new buyer is not allowed to click the buy button

The Searchable Fields are not showing up in the view ad page yet. Is it not working on my site or haven't these been added yet in 5.1.1?

You have the same error as I have = sorting within a sub category.

on the PM to seller after someone clicks the buy button.
the link is still messed up and i believe it should be usercp_classifieds.php and not classifieds.php

Mike, as you mentioned above, I've just replaced:

in classifieds.php

It still throws up the http://\" in front of the url, but if you remove it (and add a : in the correct place) then it does resolve correctly to a page asking you to confirm the sale. However, when accepting the sale it throws up the following error:

Fatal error: Class 'vB_DataManager_PM' not found in /????/??/XXXXX/htdocs/forum/usercp_classifieds.php on line 2074

Let me look an eye on it now.
