Thanks, but I don't see any Raffles menu on the left.

It is installed since it does show up in the Plugin Manager and Manage Products sections.

Did you do this for your user account? This is especially important if your userid is not 1.

Quote:

3) If you want to view raffles on your site while the raffle system is turned off, go to AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Administrator Permissions select yourself and set "Can Admin Raffles" to 'Yes'.

4) Anyone you want to be able to administer raffles on your site must also have Administrator Permissions and have "Can Admin Raffles" set to 'Yes' or they will not be able to administer raffles.
If you did that and still don't see the selection, I need to know what version of vBulletin you're running so I can see if I can duplicate the problem.

The problem was the user account which was not assigned.

Thanks, it looks to be working now.

That has nothing to do with this mod. The problem should be reported in the CPS mod thread.

Is this mod compatible with VBtech vBDonate? Credit Purchase system is no longer supported by the coder.

It is not compatible with any donation system. It is compatible with just about any point system out there.

The only way a donation system can be used is if you change the member's usergroup when they donate and only allow that new usergroup to enter a raffle.

Any script like this for vbulletin 3.8?

I'm looking for any script (doesnt even have to be vbulletin) where someone enters their username and is entered in a list, a number is generated and if it matches the position of the name that name wins (I run a little game and I know which name is whos)

nhawk 07-03-2013 08:05 AM

The 3.8 version is here...

What draw date are you trying to use? And exactly what format are you entering it in?

The format should be mm/dd/yyyy (07/30/2013) not dd/mm/yyyy. It says that in the prompt for the draw date.

Go to ACP->Raffles->Raffle Settings and tick the 'Yes' box for 'Show Raffle in Community Menu'.

Also be sure that the raffle you set up has your usergroup as an 'Allowed Usergroup'.

Use BBCode, not HTML.

VanFenix 08-27-2013 07:34 AM

I just installed this, - It's showing as installed. But in my AdminCP - there is no "raffles" section in my left nav. How can I create a new raffle?

** Update - I see it. I needed to be logged in as "admin" - simply being an administrator didn't work.

There aren't any. Nobody has created any.

You are welcome to do a translation if you can.

Where can I edit the raffles? Who are already drawn?
I the database the table 'raffle' does not contain all raffles.
Has the location changed or something?

Raffles are edited in ACP->Raffles->Edit Raffles.

You can't edit raffles that are already drawn.

Nothing has changed so far as the database goes. All raffles are contained in the raffle table.

If a raffle isn't in the raffle table, then it was deleted in ACP->Raffles->Edit Raffles.

chriske 10-05-2013 04:47 PM

Thanks for the fast reply. I have only 4 rows in the table 'Raffle' while there are more then 20 raffles on my forum that are not deleted. When adding a new raffle it does not show up in the table 'raffle'

My problem is some broken links that were used in old raffles description. I have edited these in the database before but now most raffles are missing. The raffles are still visable in the admin / raffles and on the raffle page. Really strange :S

Someone edited something then. All raffles are stored in the raffle table and they can't be displayed if they aren't in there. That has never changed from day one.

Do you have more than one site or database running on your server? Perhaps you're looking at the wrong database.

Will this work for 4.2.2? Sounds like what I am looking for.
