This Mod works very nice, but there is one importent thing: Why are the own quotes displayed? Some users lose the overview, they say and how can I turn that off? Thank you!

Not sure what I did, but I screwed something up royally! After uploading the files and installing the XML file, I went to my forums and EVERYTHING is messed up-- the entire forum is messed up! Can anyone help?

Sorry, I can't help you with just "messed up" as information :( You need to explain to me what's going on, show me screenshots, error messages... Anything that gives me an idea of what's actually going on :)

Are you running a mod that moves JavaScript like vB4 SuperCharged? If so, please disable it. You should never be running any such modification as they will cause issues like these.

Not that I am aware of. All I did was unzip this mod's zip file and attempted to upload the contents of the "upload" folder to my server. I then installed the XML file on my forums. I then went to my forums and that is what they look like now.

Not sure if the mod is supposed to do this, but when I quote someone it gives me a notification? Isn't it only suppose to give a notification when someone else quotes me, not when I quote someone?

Thank you for the quick reply Fillip! After following these steps, the @users feature now works for usernames of two characters or more:

1. Admin Panel/vBulletin Options/User Registration Options/Minimum Username Length and set length to whatever you want your minimum length to be.
2. Admin Panel/Maintenance/Update Counters/Update User Names

Hope that helps anyone who comes across the same issue.

I see you can mention @usergroup in pro but can we mention @social groups? I'm an admin on a gaming site where multiple clans meet....would be nice where they can create their own social group(clan) and then use this function to mention all members at once.

Unfortunately that's not possible. For others interested: This has been posted @ our site as a feature request, so we'll take it into consideration for future versions :)

I justtt went through the trouble of getting vb 3.8.7 took me a week lol .

Just re-applied this to my site and I'm now getting duplicate posts when using it.

Lately all my notifications are displaying notifications in the UserCP as

It keeps saying I am quoting or mentioning myself when I am not. Sometimes it displays accurate notifications sometimes not. Seems to be very temperamental.

I'm unable to replicate this issue. Are you able to find a way to replicate it 100% of the time on your site?
