Question, if I want a 2nd Nav Bar - and try to edit the templates myself - will that break this mod?

Suggestion - (if its not been addressed already) Can you make it support creating a 2nd (or 3rd, etc) Nav Bar?

I had this plugin installed in 4.0.0 and it worked great. However, after the upgrade I'm getting an error message when it's activated. I'd love to keep using it, but I think a new revision is necessary.

The error I'm getting is "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/includes/class_bootstrap.php(394) : eval()'d code on line 1"

same here, installed no error code showing but it dosent apear on menu tab.

Which xml file am I uploading, there are two in the zip file.

Your first need to upload the "bitfield_vbhtabs.xml" into your "/includes/xml" folder on the server and afterwards import the product file (e.g. product-vbh_ad-newtabs1.2.xml) as usual.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but, I've uploaded the bitfield_vbhtabs.xml file to my includes/xml folder on the server, and I've imported the product file. I'm getting no errors, but also, there are no new tabs. I can go in and edit the options, but nothing changes. It's enabled. I have no idea why this isn't working. I've recently upgraded to 4.0.7. Any advice?

I can not find it in the VB Options list? Any ieas?

WTF?!!! I've been typing a response for ages and suddenly my typing just disappeared! This is my first post on this site. I seriously hope this wasn't a deliberate time out programming decision by the administrators. I lost all my work.

May I please have clear, step by step instructions on how to install this? I have no idea what to do.

The instructions for installation you've provided are:

Installation:
Import the xml file from the product manager..
Upload the files in the upload folder to your forums via ftp.

There is an xml file included when I unzip. What's this unreadable code about? Is it supposed to be opened in a particular program?

I have put the OTHER xml file on my website's server in includes/xml.

I always get 'Invalid File Specified'.

I am guessing that I am supposed to:
1. Login as administrator to my own site.
2. Click admin in the bottom right hand corner.
3. Click 'Plugins and Products'.
4. Click 'Manage Products'.
5. Click [Add/Import Product]
6. In the 'OR import the XML file from your server' box, type: ./includes/xml/bitfield_vbhtabs.xml
7. Click Import.

Anything I've done wrong? Is there a cache removal tool in vbulletin 4.0.8? I don't get it. I REALLY need competent instructions please.

Coders should clearly state that they add links to the bottom of the site. The links are terrible for SEO and for users who don't speak spanish. Give an option for users to pay for a brand free product!

Elmer, I'm trying to setup a CMS only site, with no forum. I see you mentioned in your notes that the forum tab isn't removable. I've not been able to locate the template where its located at either to manually remove it, could you maybe point me in the right direction? :)

I need some help by settings of this mod. First of all i addet the vbadvanced Portal and named it "Portal". The default buttons of vbulletin are blogs and what's new. I would like to have this order:

Portal-Forum-What's New-Calender-FaQ-Albums-Group. How can i set that? Only functions i see in vBh is to put in left, center and right but i dont get that order with this functions. My second question is that my navbar button is not looking like the others.

If i click on Calender Button it changes in the right view

in admincp under vBH New Tabs Options .. look at Add new tabs URL and Text where you added the link for the portal.. note the order .. now go down to Tabs Selected and put "adv_index "
there. in the same order...(has to be the same order as you have it listed in add new tabs url and text)
by the way your using vbadvanced .. you can activate the tab in the options..
