Anyone know what this could mean?

my error comes after the fb connect page pops up, I enter my fb username and password, and then the error shows up at:

Is /forums is your forum root? It's pretty weird. Have you uploaded the file named "xd_receiver.htm"? Btw, after seeing the error, did your account get connected?

hahaha just tested on test forum, and got successful upgrade by disabling hacks ;)

I have a bug to report:

when this mod is enabled and you "edit" a caption on one of the picture in your gallery this text is appended to your caption in the edit window:

Is there a way to show the actual picture (small thumbnail size) over in the message on Facebook. This would help drive more people over to my website.

oh no.. I just tried to install this and followed the directions as they were playing on the link for the youtube video and have messed up my forum.. I can no longer get in there.. help.. This is what I get.. What do I do..

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/sheryl/public_html/forum/fbb/hook_init_startup.php on line 326

/forums is the forum root, yes.

xd_receiver is uploaded.

And nope, never did connect. Any ideas?

Not sure if this error is in the code or just my ignorance, but when I use the wall post tab option there are no pictures/images shown.

Hope somebody could shed some light on this a little :)

good to see another facebook app

i have a few questions. im sure u know about the other facebook mod that isn't supported any longer. i uninstalled it but there seems to be something lingering from the install. users who used the facebook connect avatars show even when other users have their avatars off. so im curious if that mod will conflict with this mod. has anyone that installed it made any complaints?

It's best to copy the image location from one of the missing image for me. It seems to be non-sense but it will help :D

Err, you mean you turn off avatar system entirely but Facebook avatars still show up? With YAFB, the core avatar system is used (with all permissions/options applied as they should be). Feel free to test on the demo board ;)

For the other modification can you tell me the modified of template for look the button "facebook connect" under the user detail like image when a user is disconnected to facebook...

Anyone know how to log out of vBulletin without logging out of your Facebook account as well?

Also, does anyone know how to connect a Facebook fan page with a different vBulletin account? I have a personal account I use with my Facebook on my forum and I also have a business account I built a fan page for on Facebook that I would like to connect with my business account I have on my forum.

I've uploaded the files and imported the xml, but when I go to Edit Settings the page seems incomplete (see screenshot). Also, all of the other links in the Facebook Bridge menu result in blank white pages. What could I be doing wrong?

You need to put in the API and SECRET key from your facebook application. If you have not created one follow the instructions given to make one.

I have the same problem as FURST only I have no ability to input anything on the edit settings screen.

There is no place to input the API and SECRET KEY..

Nothing comes up when you click on the edit settings in admincp

I have never seen that before. Try removing and reinstalling the product. Also make sure that all the files are copied tot he correct location, especially the ones that end up in the admincp directory.

What version of PHP are you running?

okay, I found the problem.. in the admincp panel, it says "facebook bridge"

that evidently is leftover from another facebook bridge I tried to use..

you have to go to the "Yay! Another Facebook Bridge" under the vBulletin Options link.. there is not a shortcut panel added to the AdminCP

And.. evidently.. when you uninstall the other Facebook plug, it doesn't remove that part of it.. so it can be confusing.

We still can't get it to work..

But I don't think its anything wrong with this mod.. I think its all remnants of the old mod that I can't seem to get rid of.

In addition to this problem, after installing YAFB I could also no longer access parts of my usercp. All of the pages under settings and options in the usercp result in a blank white page. When I disabled YAFB in admincp, the problems went away.

You can't connect a Fan Page but you can connect your Facebook Business Account just like the way you connect your primary Facebook Account. Please note that, publishing to page only supported with Forums ;)

It looks like there is a Fatal error with the script. Are you using PHP4?
