Hey Paul,

Thanks for the mod. I have your old 3.7.0 one installed but disabled since I upgraded to vB4.

Do I overwrite the current version over the old one, or should I uninstall the old first?

Thanks.

singh9211 11-10-2011 05:54 PM

thanks for updating......

Install the new one, it will remove the old version itself.

I noticed something strange, there are now 2 comma's after each name for this mod and also on the who has registered today mod.

rughis 11-20-2011 12:25 AM

Hi,

I've installed 4.1.8 mod version on my 4.1.8 vB forum and I have a strange problem.

Only when I'm using "English language" AND when I'm using IE8, I have this problem:

http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/6255/captureup.png

I don't have this issue when I use Firefox OR when I use "Italian language" on my vB forum.

Paul M 11-20-2011 11:53 AM

In your language settings for English, turn off the "Enable Directional Markup Fix".

Thank you Paul.

I configured to "yes" the setting you suggested me and I solved the problem.

mavrick4283 11-20-2011 05:47 PM

It is not working for me,

This happens in every browser.

Yes, I do have the same problem. However not in default theme. I have one called Avenger Blue Fluid that has this problem.

Paul M 11-20-2011 09:23 PM

Thats because you still have the old css in your custom theme that adds the comma, this was removed from default vb 418.

Thank you Paul for explanation. Do you know what should i edit to eliminate the comma? I am not that familiar with CSS.

Thank you very much.

Off the top of my head, I dont recall, look for content: in your rules.

Note that removing it could affect other areas of your custom style.

Thank you Paul. I will ask author of that style to look into the subject. I appreciate your answer.

Danke!
Liebe Grüsse:
Tammy

The older (pre 418) version is now attached to the main post.
This is for vBulletin versions 4.1.0 - 4.1.7 only.
Please note that the older version is NOT supported. There is no 4.0.x version available.

Sorry as i read the post before mine now I see the same answer I needed... I have the avenger Blue fluid as well.

Tried to read back a few pages, but i only see people who have 2 comas.
My problem is that i have NO comas.

How to solve that?
Using vB 4.1.8 with 4.17 of this mod. (4.18 not available?)

Hippy 11-26-2011 03:40 PM

did you revert your templates ? for this mod ?

Stefan118 11-26-2011 03:47 PM

I updated my forum last night from 4.1.5 PL1 to 4.1.8, reverted all 51 templates (4 diffrent layouts) and installed update 417 of this mod.
After that the commas are gone.

At users online and everywhere else the commas are fine.

OEPS....

I have to learn how to read!
I downloaded 417 of this mod, not knowing that the one above was for vB 4.1.8
Problem solved.

Paul, maybe you should put a version number behind it?

Stefan118 11-26-2011 03:59 PM

But now I have the other problem...
As Paul has said before, I turned off the directional markup fix, but that didn't help.

It seems that if an username contains a space, it breaks the line and starts a new one.
It also breaks out of the box.

This only appears in IE8, not in FireFox.

Paul M 11-26-2011 04:59 PM

There is no fix for that atm (other than dont use IE8).

Stefan118 11-26-2011 05:49 PM

lol...

Than i remove the 418 modification, and reinstall the 417 mod.

I'd rather have no commas than broken up usernames and names who break out of boxes.

Thanks anyway, and i will check reguarly if there is a solution.

Paul M 11-27-2011 12:07 AM

Add this to your additional.css, it should make IE8 happy.

HTML Code:

@media \0screen {
        .commalist li {
                display:inline-block;
        }
}

Stefan118 11-27-2011 12:41 PM

That did the job!

Thank you very very much!

ard 11-29-2011 01:50 PM

Sorry for my bad english, but how can i make the list “Members who have visited today” invisible for not registered users?

gulf4cars 12-10-2011 05:48 PM

Dear Paul

I have installed an older version of the mod on my forum (forum version is 4.1.7). After that a problem in registration is occurred. The below error in database is received to website mail every time a new user registers.

Now i have uninstalled the mod but the problem is still there

Code:

Please help me to solve the problem as many advised me to upgrade the forum to 4.1.8 and i dont want to upgrade while the problem is still on.

Thanks man for this useful mod

Paul M 12-10-2011 07:12 PM

Sorry, that error has no relation to this modification at all, thats some error from a cron job.

gulf4cars 12-11-2011 03:14 PM

but this error appeared when i installed an older version of the mod.

I know i am wrong because the older version was not compatible with my forum version

If you are sure this error has no relation to the mod then please guide me on what to do in such cases

katim110 12-14-2011 12:40 AM
