The musicbox inherits the style of the forum, therefore it will match any style the user is choosing to browse on your forum :)

I have a few questions:

Where does this mod gather the media from? From My server or from external sources i.e youtube, metacafe, etc?

Do I have to add the media links manually or it already comes with a playlist etc?

You add the media manually, if it comes with the playlist every forum that installs it would have the same song list all the time. It supports embedded flash, clip from youtube and other online video services. Media link is direct and could be from any host.

The answer would be no as long as I'm unable to afford the cost of vB4. :(

i installed from installation after uploading all files.... after creating database "music" folder disappeared...[i had chmod 666] then uninstalled and can t create music folder anymore...strange....uninstalled everything and deleted all files

edit : i did a successful install on test forum on same server...... but i tried reinstall on real forum ..unable to create folder called music at all.... is there chance to rename the that folder attributed wherever needed.... or what to do get permissions back to create "music" folder

This looks more like a server problem than musicbox error. The installation does not make changes to music folder in any step. You may need to contact the technical support of your host to find out what's wrong in this case.

well when i try to "edit" my configurations ..

just show this :

"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /foro/music.php on this server."

=/

dont work for me =/

is there anyway u can disable to check this causing my ajax errors.... or i need to uinstall to check it... no option in plugin/product or vboptions or even dnpmusic setting

i wanted to disable the whole mod to see if this is causing errors.. but there was no option in acp to do it... but the error is fixed long ago.. ur support came months later...i had to uinstall db n mod to test it...:eek:

The coding wouldn't be the same in vB4 as it is for vB3.
