Noticed a problem with the comments in safari. Here is a screen shot.

I have to hit load information button for videos to show time length, otherwise ??? would show on the thumbnails. Does anyone have a fix to this problem?

Hey all, nice mod Jax.

Everything working on mod except Categories, I have no place to edit them.
Fully clean install yesterday on 3.8.1.
Only options i have for setting up are in vb options and they is no manage catagories in them, i have nothing else in the acp.

Strange - rebooted pc and options appeared, tried clearing cache in firefox before hand, with no luck.

Anyway scrap the above post ;) - sorted

hugur... that has nothing to do with this mod... You forgot to disable MGC Chatbox Evo before you uninstalled it...

Bug on Uninstalling Process:

When I Tried to Uninstall the Mod on a Test Forum, I received the Following Two (2) Errors; is Important Jaxel that you include a Logic Sentence that If Any of the Table don't Exist then Continue to the Next Steps, because the Process Gets Stopped for Each Missing Table.

Tables: ZZZvideotag and ZZZvideotagvideo

I had to go to phpMyAdmin, Create the Tables with 1 Field in them (Any), and then Run the Uninstall Process for it to Complete Fine, but the Sentence on the Uninstaller is Very Important for Not to get this Errors:

ZZZ are Table Prefixes.

An impressive feat, I don't think a year of messing with PHP/VB and MySQL, I could achieve what you have done with this application. Impressive indeed. However,I'm having a bit of problem with people posting comments on videos that have been posted. Each new comment seems to tab the previous comment over one. This issue only happens in the "Safari" Browser, I've checked with FireFox and it seems to be working fine. I'm not sure what's causing this but I believe it might be a CSS class issue, moreover, could you assist me?

Edit: I was wondering if you would be releasing more hoster-sites, if yeah, then I won't try a miserable attempt at drawing one out on my own. I'll just wait for yours.

I have a few questions/request.

How do I make some of the videos viewable to some groups and not the rest.
How do i go about making it show videos on my own site, do any one have a plug in for this plug in?
can the the number of videos that a person uploaded or last video watched show up in the user profile?

More:
- user video uploads (local)
- mp3/wav support (both local and online)
- comments moderation

Hi guys,
I have getting this error whenever I try to watch any video:
"You are not logged in or you do not have permission to watch videos."

But the strange thing is I can upload videos.

All the permissions are appropriately set for the categories but even the system administrator is getting that message. I saw some previous posts in this thread where people said they have resolved the issue but they never said how :(

Can someone please help me resolve this issue.

First of all, I found NO instructions for uninstalling this mod. So I uninstalled it from the Product Manager in my admincp and now I'm getting database error reports emailed to me. Help please!


*EDIT - Ok, my bad on this one. I removed the product but hadn't removed all of the uploaded files yet. It seems after removing all of the video directory files from my server I am no longer getting database error messages.

Fabulous addition. Exactly what I was looking for.

So far the addition of videos has been extremely easy, but I have received this error on a video or two:

"The response of the video-server can't be read."

That error came while adding a series of videos and this was the 6th out of 9 videos. The others in the series were fine. I can't "Load the information" or add it by hand either. I saw two others in this forum with the same error, but I couldn't find an answer if one was given, so if I missed it forgive me.

Any ideas?

Edit: I think it maybe that there was a _ in the video number/url. Not sure, but that seems to be the only difference. I added it by hand directly to mysql and it works fine on the frontend now, I just couldn't add it.

I am using CleanBlue style, and this is how it looks like after I have installed this:

It worked fine on all the other styles. So I don't have any idea on what file to go and what to do so it would work on this style as well. Hopefully someone can give me a solution

Ok, so after more adding of videos it seems to not be the _ problem. I am at a lose. Has happened with about 4 videos now. Seems to be for no reason as the others by the same uploader load fine.

Anyone else seen this or have any ideas what it could be?

Other than that it is one of my favorite addons, clean and blends in nicely.

@tyranny... that error has NOTHING to do with this mod. It has to do with Youtube sucking. It just means that the server that the video is polling the XML data from is down... wait a few hours and it usually fixes itself.
