hi i have very problem whit paypal the site problem is

this product worked great until i went to clear off all the users from the paypal list in VB and now, every person who has donated gets this error when they go to see who is online:

i've done everything i could...i cannot even remove the "ForumSupporter" secondary group from their usernames. any ideas?

Hi MTG
A member can start the process, put an amount in, click paypal and not go through the whole paypal process but the amount still stays in your records. You will see the intended amount even if it goes through or not. :)

There is quite a large problem with this.

If the user is to press submit, and go to PayPal.com, but not actually pay, and leave the paypal redirect, it will show up as a paid donation.

After I view the donations list and mark as confirmed, those that were confirmed still appear in the list. Does this mean that it's possible to mark them as confirmed again (by accident) and falsely increase the progress bar ? If I delete them from the donated list, will this decrease the progress bar ?

It does it on mine also and I think this was discussed early on. Don't accept it and it will not show on your totals...

two problems :
1. ive added what uve said to add for using this hack with VBCMPS though the link on the navbar directs to http://www.math-pl.co.il/misc.php?do... instead of : http://www.math-pl.co.il/forums/misc.php?do.. i tried adding the file "misc.php" in the "Navbar Replacements" (VBCMPS configartions) though it didnt work.

2. in addition can u add an option to pay with NIS(new israeli shekel) please ?

Not possible without plug-in edits.

I get a PayPal merchant link error when I specify subscription timeframes. Everything works fine when I have the amounts (only).

There's a way to add amounts like 6,55 $, 7,98 & in donation list ?

When i put a a decimal amount, the hack automatically converts it into an entire one (e.g. 3,55 $ becomes 3 $)...

AFTER UNZIPPING THE DOWNLOADED FILE, I LOOKED FOR FILE CybPayPalDonate.xml. SEARCHED AND REPLACED THIS -

After saving the changes in CybPayPalDonate.xml, I logoned to VB Admin Control Panel
Plugins & Products > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]
Browse and select the modified CybPayPalDonate.xml
Select the radio button - YES - for "Allow Overwrite" VERY IMPORTANT
Click 'IMPORT'

I backed up the table vb_cybppdonate, templates cyb_paypal_donbar and cyb_paypal_donate (since I had customizations), but none of this was not necessary for my environment.

I used the following Paypal HTML variables information available at -

Page 165 to page 173 of the "Website Payments Standard Integration Guide" pdf document available on Paypal website.
Logon to Paypal Business Account > Products & Services > Recurring Billing > Manual > Subscriptions and Recurring Payments Manual

Some of the relevant information about the Paypal HTML variables is also available at -

The information about these variables to customize/fix this Mod (as shown above) were easily understood. Overall this is one of the best Mod I have seen.

Disregard, I had to trick it to work.

One thing I did notice though is that when you enter a minimum amount accepted value such as $2, any value such as $10 or $100 will not work due to not meeting the minimum value. It appears that the zeros are dropped of and as such it's only registering a 1 which will cause the amount to not be accepted. I even tried put it as 2.00 and still the $10 and $100 are not accepted.

Nice hack ! Can you please add some features like:

1. In the Donations List, the table heads to have some sort options (to see who donated the biggest ammount, or who donated many times)
2. An option to make a sum for users who donated more than once (for example i have users that made donations 20 times or more) and it's really hard to see how much he actually donated in total
3. An option to show something like "*" for the users that were added manually (for example i want to see who donated through PayPal and who donated through my bank account and i added manually)
4. Top 10 statistics or something like that :)
