Still have one problem with the chatbox, only ones able to delete all messages at once are admins, super mods and moderators do not have that option even though it is set for admins, super mods, and moderators in the admincp. The only way they can clear the shouts is to select each one and then delete them.

It appears that IE7 just shows the "Loading..." message. Works fine in FireFox, IE6 and Safari.

Installed this and it is working as advertised, installed very easy on my 3.6.8 version of VB (Clicked Installed BTW).

Question: Is there way to change the color of the text when I click the "edit" button to edit a message? I would like the text to be black or red possibly because currenty its very difficult to read the text becuse of background color for style......

How can I change the color of the text after clicking on "edit" to edit the message?

Also: When you click the "Full Chatbox" button, how do you go back to the regular sized chat window page?

Great mod. Thanks. Some users on my board are reporting an issue with the archive pages. They get an error of Internet explorer cannot open the Internet site http://forums.site.com/misc.php?=ccarc. Operation aborted. It works fine on firefox. Has anyone had this issue and found a work around?

Edit the template cyb_chatbox_archive_bit, it's right there on the second line.

Now, I have an issue,

I put the table frame from my skin on the ChatBox, ChatBox Full, and Archive. It looks good, and works great. With one exception.

The ChatBox will not work on the 'forumdisplay' pages. No other pages are effected.

It shows and everything, you just can't post from that page. Any thoughts?

How can I reduce server loads? what options can I change and to what value?

Set your 'active users auto-refresh interval in seconds' higher, anything below 30sec is a bit much.

Also, for the lowest load, only have the ChatBox on one page.Your Forum Home page is the usual choice.

Great chatbox. I do have one question: is it possible to find out with some PHP code how many users are currently active in chat? I'd like to make a vbAdvanced plugin to display that number in our portal with a link to the chatbox.

This is easily the best chatbox i've used. Just dont set the settings too low - I almost got kicked off my server for it LOL.

One question though, any way to stop the horizontal bar when someone posts a long URL?

Question, is there any way to export the archive to a thread so the content aspect still can be indexed? Like say take a evening archive and dump it to a new thread?

I can select the posts in archive but the only option is delete, no move or copy.

first of all, thank you very much for this great Hack. I have one suggestion. Could you implement the dynamic replacement variables per style? Because it's quite hard to read the usernames if you have a dark and a bright skin. With the replacement variables I can just change the colors.

Does anybody know how I can implement the replacement variables into this hack? I would like the user HTML markup to change, depending on my replacement variables..

the chat box works on firefox but it doesnt work in IE?

okey its working now.when im using my admin account the chat box doesnt work i can't post on it but when i use my regular user account i can post and everything works.where do you delete the messages when the chatbox is full will it automatically delete it?

My only wish would be that it honored the censorship settings so that we didn't have to clean out four letter words when they are not appropriate. Our forum filters them out, this does not :(

Also, banning BB tags doesn't seem to do anything. I cut and pasted from the example and the IMG tags still shows images.

Ok I have the chatbox on my forum, is there anyways to lock it untill after a certain amount of post per login or per day or even per a time period? I am finding my users like the box all to well lol Well enough that they don't post anymore haha......Thank again
