Not sure what I am doing wrong, I have installed everything working fine, except, I have made a new Usergroup VIP Membership, and put the correct usergroup number in but following donation I have to move them manually as they don't changed groups automatically.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks Cyb. I discovered it when I was editing the template. I just changed the phrase from Unknown to Anonymous. I also need to change how the date is displayed but I'll check on it after I do the upgrade.

Is there some other hack on your board which uses misc.php for something?

I haven't used arsort function in PayPal Donate and you are the only one who reported such problem.

Go to your admin cp and look in global phrases for cybpaypal_donate change the font color to what you wish.

I nevertheless have a little problem in the PM and donation list where "d-m-y" is displayed instead of the date.
I run vbulletin in french and the dates are correctly displayed anywhere else.
Did I miss something?
I also noticed that almost all french users got this error on their forums using this hack...
Who could help me?

Just wondering, I know vbulletin has the built in subscription feature but is it possible to add reoccurring donations to the system? Just a small request.

I have a question, I am trying to remove the FAQ from my navbar, but everytime I do, it gets rid of my donate link. Anything I can do?

You can simply replace:
with:
in navbar template.

Then go to hack settings and disable automatic insertion of Donate link to navbar.

This will remove FAQ link and add Donate to it's place.

By the way any chance have additional features in next release about Usergroup/Membership Change based on donation amounts?

I mean only donation with specified amounts ($xxx or more) will change automatically to current VIP/Donatur usergroup.

Cyb, the move the usergroup function does not work properly... I have a vip usergroup.. have everything setup properly.. I choose "Confirm and Move to VIP group"

.. it then moves the person, seems like they are in that user group.. only issue is they are lacking the usertitle that goes with it and rankimage(stars) .. then when I check user profile in admincp .. I see they have been moved to the proper user group.. just for some reason its not fully moving them? Issue with Permissions on the code?

Anyways to get around it ive just been going to admincp for each person and clicking save.. once I click save there it shows them as in the proper group.. so basically the issue seems to not be with the moving of the user to the group, rather it showing up on their profile.

I have just installed this yesterday and was looking for that feature too. Unfortunately there is no access on Cybs info post to any earlier version to be able to keep this feature.

Problem maybe. When I go on my quicklinks list and click donations it adds a / to the url. so now its domain.com//misc.php?do=donlist

First of all I want to thank you for the time you spent coding and updating this hack, but here's a problem I'm most concerned about, that I feel noone has addressed...due to the fact I can't find any mention of it within this thread.

When a user goes to the donate page, selects their amount and clicks the "Donate" button, they may, or may not encounter a problem when it takes them to PayPal. They'll probably get the "seller doesn't accept un-encrypted payments" error. That's not the problem, though.

In order for this hack to work properly, the seller, in this case, me...has to configure his PayPal account to accept un-encrypted payments...something I'd rather not do...but have to, in order for this hack to function properly.

Now...I've seen posts within this thread related to the "un-encrypted payment" error, but noone provided a response to them. So hopefully, I've answered their question...they just need to configure their website payments in PayPal to accept un-encrypted payments.

Now...if I had a choice...I'd rather not accept non-encrypted payments, but your hack doesn't support this option in PayPal...unless the "Donate" button is configured that way.

Do you have any plans...or any suggestions for fixing this issue?

Here's another issue I'd like to have answered, please...

I've configured a new Usergroup for this hack...I have it configured to follow permissions from another Usergroup.

When a person donates, I would like them added to the new Usergroup and, of course, I'd like to give them a special title for donating, but I don't want them moved from one Usergroup to the other...I hope you can understand what I mean...and I'm not quite sure how to set this up within the Admin CP.

Scenario:

Say I have a Moderator that wants to donate..of course, he needs to remain in the Moderator Usergroup...and his title needs to remain "Moderator"...and his permissions need to remain intact as well.

How can I configure the Usergroup to show that he's, in fact, included within the new Usergroup I created, but it does't conflict with his primary Usergroup? I'd also like to know how I can configure it so that his title remains "Moderator", but he also has an additional title of "V.I.P.", because he has donated.

The same would apply for all current Usergroups within the forum's database...

Any suggestions?
