hmmm - I've had psiStats on JPiC for over 24 hours now - and I don't believe it's updated once since install - You did give me an idea though...

About the cron... I checked in my ADMIN CP for scheduled tasks and didn't see the psiStats Update cron added, though I'm sure I uploaded it in the original installation...

So I went to AdminCP ------> Scheduled Tasks -----> Add New Scheduled Task and added the cron manually.

Question: What are the correct variables I should use to make the cron update every 15 minutes?

Jacquii.

Hmm, it should have been added. The is_newer_version() function of vBulletin seems to be buggy though... Anyway, please run the following query to create the cron:

[SQL]INSERT INTO `cron` VALUES (NULL, 1136665500, -1, -1, -1, 'a:1:{i:0;i:25;}', './includes/cron/psistats_update.php', 1, 'psiStats 2006 Update (15-Minute Interval)')[/SQL]

PoetJA-1975 10-09-2006 03:27 AM

Well - I did the query and the cron updates - But I've seen numerous DB errors:

Quote:

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.4:

Invalid SQL:
LOCK TABLES psistats_cache READ, psistats_data READ;

MySQL Error : Access denied for user '********' to database '*******'
Error Number : 1044
Date : Sunday, October 8th 2006 @ 10:34:41 PM
Script : http://jpicforum.info/cron.php?&rand=39200
Referrer : http://jpicforum.info/search.php?searchid=3347
IP Address : ************
Username : Unregistered
Classname : vB_Database
I actually have spent the last hour or so reading this entire thread. Seems others have had similar probs and one of the solutions was to comment out a line in ...includes/functions_cron.php

PHP Code:

$vbulletin->db->close();

In 3.5.4 that line is nowhere to be seen. So at the risk of appearing like a complete and utter dummy - Is there anything I can possibly to do to make the elements I talked about earlier actually show up in the stats? Is there a way that I can make the cron function work appropriately for my 3.5.4?

ALSO concern: sure this prolly has been answered - but the IP Address and Username in the Database error is different a lot of times and I'm wondering - WTF???

At anyrate - I'd love to have this working for my board, as it is a fabulous idea and could really help me in future promotional activities!

So HELP! And if you call me a dummy - I'm actually inclined to nod my head in a gesture of YEP lol - Don't know much about the coding thing - But seriously - would love to have this one working ;)

Thanx again for providing such a wonderful addition - Just want it working properly!

Jacquii.

Please read the FAQ post, 2nd in this thread. :)

Different IP - People have different IPs.
Different Username - People have different Usernames, too. It doesn't only happen for you.

PoetJA-1975 10-09-2006 11:10 AM

OH - But I think I'm special ;)
OK OK OK - I suppose I will contact my webhost about the lock table DB error.
At anyrate - thanx for not cursing me out and adding to your ignore list LOL
I will let you know the status when I hear back from my webhost - Thanx for taking the time to remind me about the faq :P

Jacquii.

PoetJA-1975 10-10-2006 03:40 AM

Hey PSIONIC - thanx very much! It's working 100% now and is an AWESOME addition to JPiC!

Really nice work - cheers!

Jacquii.

Will this happen again? Anyone know what happened, thanks!

I have the exact same problem and the table are gone completley. I have tried making them by hand with no luck. I have tried the diable hooks plan, but then I get new errors. I still cant get into my admincp to fix it.

I am down for 2 days now.

Any ideas on how to get it out

akanevsky 10-26-2006 05:53 PM

I cannot help unless you post the specific error message that you are seeing.

What is the Human Referer option(link) in the Stats selections?
Whenever I click on it I get an invalid page. I installed the Human Referer Hack but it did not change the outcome.

akanevsky 11-07-2006 11:44 AM

You define that link in admincp options...

You must allow LOCK permission for MySQL user.

Advice, concentrate and focus your engergy on fixing your releases rather than worrying about getting a moderator to delete unanswered posts OR telling people to calm down with threats of ignoring. I don't know who you think you are with statements like that. I can see your immaturity shining here. Uninstalls

I don't see what is the problem with his age.He did more than you did and I believe he will achieve more than you.I think you are the one being immature.Psionic is being rational.

Bob

Pretty much yes you are right

================================================== ====
Yes I just realized that there is one :p

and I believe you want to delete the executionorder column from the plugins so it works both on 3.5 and 3.6 :)

Well I was about to jump to the last page but I somehow bumped into them :p

Ziki 02-06-2007 10:28 PM

2 errors I found.

1.No images for XML and js feeds

2.When trying to view a XML feed: Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: vb_xml_builder in /psistats.php on line 777

Huh? There are images in the archive. What's the problem?

Oh, damn. I forgot that there is no vB_XML_Builder class in 3.5. I'll fix that.

You need to turn this on for the forum. The same settings as the activity on homepage.

Ziki 02-09-2007 04:12 PM

Please could you make it separate because active members on homepage has no use for me and on the psistats page it was great. Also I think you should implement a top member(posts) and such usual things.

So then just edit the forumhome template. :)

Ziki 02-09-2007 04:59 PM

When I do that it doesn't show the active.Just Active: | Non Active: 205 | Activity: 0%

No.... Enable it for the forum, but then edit the part of the FORUMHOME template that actually displays the number.

Ziki 02-11-2007 01:13 PM

I did that....nvm I actually don't need it that much. But it could be made separate so we don't have to have it on FORUMHOME :)

Ziki, you don't have to have it on FORUMHOME. However, turning it on for the whole forum is required so that it would be cached in vBulletin User Stats. Otherwise, the psiStats homepage will require much more processing time.

Ziki 02-13-2007 02:53 PM

Dude!I don't want to have it on forumhome.I disabled it and removed the variable from the template. But when I did that the stats disappeared!

That's exactly what I'm saying:
a) You need it turned on in settings, which makes it show on forumhome.
b) Since you don't want it on forumhome, you don't have to have it. Just edit the forumhome template. But keep it turned on in settings.

Ziki 02-13-2007 06:47 PM

And that's what I am saying, that's what I did and the active stats don't show up.THe phrases do but no numbers
