so what would be wrong then with my installation?

Everything worked. I created an email account in order to send a login to test it, and it worked. I clicked the link, registered, and that was it. When I registered, the referral field was there and was blank. When the process was finished there was no referall credited. Also, in my invites list where it shows the number of invites, it says when it was sent, but the received and registered spaces are blank as well.

btw, you did not respond to my pm or RAC private bid request so I'm assuming you weren't interested?

I'm confused. I searched this thread and he said if anyone asks about this then they will be put on ignore list. I searched and all I saw was "no msn support" quite a few times. I read #1 post and it says support for MSN Grabber is built in, but this script costs. I googled MSN Grabber and didn't get anything.

So my question is this:

Is MSN Grabber by Psionic or is it a 3rd party program? And where can I purchase it?

but keep looking there are a couple of free ones if you're a coder you'll be able to add it yourself or throw in couple $ and someone will do it for you thats what i did

Although there are free grabbers, none of them integrate with my invites system If you look in my signature, you will see that I have a version with msn grabber included, but that version costs a certain amount of bucks.

I know the mod if for 3.5, and I'm probalby reaching... but is it possible to install this mod in 3.0.7? I would upgrade to the new version but my board is hacked to the gills, and I'm afraid I would never get all the mods to work on 3.5.

Am I out of luck?

vB 3.5 hack would not work on vB 3.0.
I have this similar hack written for vB 3.0 a while back (even before this hack released). You can download it here.

the diff is the commercial one has msn grabber

There is also another difference: The commercial version checks to ensure that no already registered users receive any invites. E.g., if you try to invite an e-mail that's registered, it'll not go through.

Well, you need to go to www.ioncube.com/loaders.php and download a loader archive that is made for your system. Then you upload it to yourserver/www/ioncube/ and run the php file within it to see whether it'll work.

I have a bunch of dll files in the ioncude folder now, does that mean it is set up and will work?

Seems like you've uploaded the files to the wrong folder.
It says that it cannot find the loader, which means that no - it will not work. Try putting files into the php extensions folder mentioned (C:PHPExtensions).

I opened it from my desktop and let it decide what folder to create it in. I gave it FTP info and it did the rest on it's own. I don't have access to C:, it's a shared server.
Does this mean it won't work?

On a windows server, yo would usually have to ask your hosting provider to upload the ext. for you.

I'd like to add some text to the top of invites.php that reminds members about our strict membership requirements so they think twice before inviting someone.

I've looked at the file, but I don't see where I could insert this. Any suggestions?

Nice hack. I would like to install it on my board. Problem is I have latest vb 3.5.4 and the hack says it is for 3.5.0. Do you think that could be a problem ?

Unless stated otherwise, a 3.5.X hack is compatible with all 3.5.X versions of vBulletin.
