Nelson, please quit trying to start trouble, I answered the question there, and if the poster read the first post, they would have seen that that is all there is in the General Settings. :)

Also this mod has nothing to do with the other one, so stay on topic. :)

Not trying to cause trouble. I am addressing their comments about support.

Are you connected with them somehow? I mean I think they can speak for themselves. They provide these mods, no manuals, support is spotty, when you request support, they attack. Gee, not something many would want to have to deal with. :-(

ozzy47 12-08-2014 08:53 PM

Well you commented in this mod's thread about another mod, which is off topic. :)

I am a advisor on here, and a member much like yourself, not affiliated with DBTech in any way shape or form. :)

Remember, this thread is for the discussion of DragonByte Forum Ads v2 (vB4) not some other question in another mods thread, so please stay on topic. :)

You coded for them, and now you are acting as a shill for them by discouraging criticism of their support system. That's clearly out of line.

Enough of this nonsense.

If you have an issue with this specific mod, feel free to post details - the developer may or may not address them. This modification is provided on vb.org free of charge and there is no obligation to support it, I suggest you remember that before shouting off.

Further off topic posts will be removed.

My biggest problem is the lack of documentation of any kind, be it a manual or documentation on the site. You run into an issue, like trying to lower the global header locations, and there is no documentation of how to do that.

In my case, I played with the stylevars until I found one which would remove that ridiculous white space with the notation "please don't block the banner ads". That is how I remedied it.

And the support....well....I don't have to beat a dead horse, so I won't....

Does anyone have this on a live site so I can check it out?

Thanks

RichieBoy67 12-11-2014 12:21 PM

Does it support custom locations or only Vbulletin adspaces?

It supports custom locations just like vBulletin does (although not officially as far as vB is concerned). I should have something up and running within the next week with both stock and custom locations, I'll send a link when it's up.
