Well it appears this is not working for me, I had a re-occuring event, and the event just passed this saturday, yet no threads were made about it in the forums.

When you post a event it post both a thread and an event. Did we not go through this already? I am starting to not support my mods because of people like you. You can't read. Whats the problem you were told several times how this works. I do not think I will release another mod here on vbulletin.org. People are ungrateful, They do not appreciate the work that goes in to a free mod, They do not appreciate free support. People act like I get paid to do this, The truth is I haven't got one penny for any thing. |

I would be send money but Paypal is not happy with me (I have been working with them on restoring full access to my Paypal for months now, but their customer service and those teams are very slow) Please don't think your work goes unappreciated. :o |
The hell no I never said it is not unappreciated. The thing is... we have a bunch of events which are re-occuring that we posted on our calendar months before installing this.
All I'm asking is how to make those events start appearing on forums WITHOUT re-adding them, and I'm sure there is a way to do this. And really to tell you the truth, what you posted is really offensive. |

Digging out my car only to be plowed in with frozen snow. BTW, your mod is a big part of one of my sites. Thanks! |

<span style="text-decoration: line-through">Bug report: Regular calendar events (before vB Event Forums) showed the user's avatar. In vB Events Forums - the avatar is set to the default avatar instead of the user's avatar.</span>
Edit: Just kidding, searched for the missing avatar after I posted what I observed. JUST KIDDING! |
Just let me know if you need any information from me to help resolve the issues. Im standing by! Be safe out there!

Hello!
Ok, I am not sure if this mod is to blame, but I am now receiving a new "vBulletin Database Error!". When a new calendar event is created, the mod creates a new thread in a forum, as the mod is designed to do. However, the forum is moderated and new threads require approval. When a new event is created, I receive two emails. The first is the error email (see below). And the second is the new thread notification, which is normal. Here is the error: PHP Code:
Thanks in advance! |
Bug: Admins and supermods have FULL rights to move/edit events, however, thread creaters (who had FULL access to edit their own threads because the events are always changing [raves, go figure]) as well as full abilities to edit their calendar events CANNOT edit the event. this is stressing out a lot of the promoters and I sadly just saw this. Thread creators cannot edit their own threads/event, but admins/supermods can (not sure on the "just mods", i hate them anyway)
Please help :( Clarification: They can EDIT if they use the right URL (which they don't know) but there is no button for them to click on to edit. Edit 3: Can go to previous calendar events that WERE created by them that don't have threads anymore (due to uninstall of previous mod and installation of new) and they can edit those. |
