Installed but then Uninstalled.

Great idea.

BUT !

We have 3 admins, and albeit I have no issues with them Administrating the forums, I do not wish for our Analytics to be accesible in any format, other than by ME.

Such a shame this product could not be "user id" driven, rather than just Usergroup driven.

Hi

You can setup a secondary administrator usergroup and have yourself in the master usergroup, this is what I did ;)

Actually when I installed it was already setup for left side, so that may be why it's working fine for me.

Sounds like a plan, my concern is already belong to two usergroups, as primary and secondary.
Makes stuff complicated when we already have forum permissions set in multitude of places, that I really dont wanna whip thru and update.

Perhaps VBSEO, can code this so that we may enter USERNAME of acceptable admins.

So..

Checkbox, that only accesible by Admin Usergrp
With drill down selection of the users within that usergroup, allowing you to select on the fly... which member of that usergrp can have access.

Or just a simple username entry, so enter the username of the person you want to have control.

This way if you ever need for vbseo or the like ( inc google, legal whatever ) you can just assign access to this particular function, via this method, rather than granting that user full access as an admin.

We do similar on a eccomerce site we run, whereby we allow access thru a back door, for our bank, so that they can run audits as and when. It is fully logged and via https

But it MEANS we know they cant rummage around and accidentally delete stuff

Since few days the VBSEO analytics tool on our forum has logged me out from the stats and there is no way i can sign back in.

Am i the only one that experience this? I can perfectly login to google analytics still

After setting up an analytic account and installing the code (I used the bottom of the header template), I found that I had to go back to my Google analytic account and have it re-verify (check status of) the existence of the code. Then it worked, but if I remember correctly it took a day to gather enough info to display. I can't remember exactly...

Without checking the status to see it was actually in place to activate, it wasn't gathering the information. Also make sure your analytic account ID is correctly installed in Admin CP.

thx bro ... this is it
it took 24 hours ...but fine now

so again thx

Just dived though all 10 pages of these comments looking for a fix for my infinite load problem, ill sum up what solution i did read to help save some people some time instead of digging though 10 of pages of comments looking for answers:

Someone suggested this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....0&postcount=69
I have not tried this yet.

Someone also tried beta 2 available here and this worked for them: http://www.vbseo.com/f5/vbseo-livest...-v1-0-a-32225/
I have not yet tried this one yet either.

Someone also suggested not using the @gmail.com part of the login, example:
Use "Test" as a password instead of "test@gmail.com"
I have tried this last one and it did not solve my problem.

Couple things to note in my case:
1) I am not the owner of the website/analytis but i do have full analytics access - i was using my personal gmail account which has this access.

2) The plugin leaves a 0 as the user ID number - i tried to manually enter in the number but had no success in getting the plugin working.

3) There are two seperate sites attached to my analytics account - the second is not a sub-domain but i tried to enter in the sub domain area anyway just to see if that could help, it didnt work.

Back to trying to get this thing to work i go, this could be quite a handy plugin once i can eventually get it running. If i do get it running ill chime in and share what fix worked for me.

If anyone notices that i have left anything out of this thread that i/other people should try please feel free to share what that is.

Hopefully this post helps someone !

Can someone help me please. I am using a chat program on my site that is interfeering with this mod. If I add the following line in my footer which is required for my chat program I cant get my stats to show up but if I remove the listed code everything works fine, Is there a problem with jquery and how can I fix it?

Footer
<if condition="is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo, 5, 6, 7)">
<script type="text/javascript" src="/forums/chat/js/jquery.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/forums/chat/js/chat.js"></script>
</if>
