I would like to thank TMC for at least trying, I had high hopes for it as I really need to upgrade my forum, but rely on event forums AND rsvps at the moment and cannot risk breaking them.

I can't change or delete an Event as Admin.

How i can do that? The Usergroups are in the ACP in vB.

I think EVERYONE is missing the point of this... VBULLETIN has made CALENDAR.PHP the bastard child of VBULLETIN... they have gone and created, blogs, project tools, upgraded the forum... etc... and didn't try to expand on the calendar... which can be VERY usefull if there were enough default featuers.... just look at how a small company by the name of FACEBOOK utilizes a calendar....

This mod should be a standard feature..... and rsvpin' via a forum is sorta silly... but to each his own... but if the calendar.php was 1/3 better... or even improved on within the last 3yrs!!!... maybe more.... its just so frustrating... ppl don't know how to integrate the calendar cuz it is the bastard child of vbulletin and never implemented properly...

Good point in here! However I would add this sentence to at least 50 addons available here going from vbStatus to vbSEO.

vb needs to change their strategy: even n00bs can start their web2.0 portal within minutes while you need to beg your **** off to get simple features anytime via upgrade.

Just to be clear, my modification does work on 3.8.0 and earlier versions. It is the integration modification with the Event Forums that has been abandoned, and that is because the Event Forums modification hasn't been updated to work with later versions.

Remember like 6 or 7 months ago when I contacted you and Evercraft and asked you if I could bring your mod up to date and release it?

Evercraft enthusiastically gave me permission.

You very quickly and harshly denied me permission.

I find it a bit comical that now you are trying to claim that it's Evercraft's fault (which it isn't, previous to making this mod I have been running an updated version of evercrafts mod and an updated of your two mods). You had the opportunity to have it updated... you didn't take it, and you didn't let someone else handle it. Don't try and offset the blame elsewhere... it's yours.

I wasn't trying to place blame anywhere. I just wanted to make sure that anyone who is using this modification is aware that it does work with 3.8.0 and 3.7.x. If they do not want or need to integrate it with the Event Forums mod, then this modification will work fine for them. If they do want to use it with the Event Forums, your mod may be a good option. I just don't want there to be any confusion and people thinking they have to switch if they want to use this with 3.8.0.

As to Evercraft's mod, it hasn't been updated. If it were, I would have made integrated his updates into this modification. I never wanted to take on the Event Forums mod though for my own, so I wasn't about to try to figure out what was wrong with his to make it work correctly with new editions.
