OK, to be dumb, im stuck at the first hurdle. I have uploaded the files to the correct folder as specified. Uploaded the plugin. But I have no link on the left as I should have. What have I done wrong?

Does not work with with SEO plugins (particulary Zoints) Just shows the map without the map.

Good idea but a waste of two hours to install it with poor instructions eg upload files x to x but missed that there was an other 2 files and it did not say to upload them or not??????

Considering the hack was released and pretty much droped as far as support goes I should have known to avoid it.....

It's running fine for me on 3.6.1 other than the fact that it doesn't go to someones location when you click it in their postbit or on the members list.

Did you even ask a question about your issue?
Instead of saying "Don't waste your time this hack is useless" you should be asking for help as I and many others have got it to work with 3.6.0, 3.6.1, and 3.6.2. Saying that someones hack is not worth the time is very unproductive, and quite pointless as it works for many, but why it works for you we dont know unless you ask questions and give people details.

You have SEO which is incompatible with this hack in most instances. When I enable my SEO I get the exact same issue. Disable your SEO and Im almost going to assure you it will work. Maybe you should talk to your SEO software support to get that working properly.

I have seen many questions asked about why it does not work for them and those questions were unanswered and still unanswered. No where in this thread did I read that it was not compatable with SEO and nor was that information posted in the instructions or even in the first post. At least advising people the limitations of a hack would prove more productive than not.

That said "dont waste your time" means exactly that. Obviously, the author does not wish to fully support the product and does not wish to write complete instructions and does not wish to advise people that if they have some SEO product working, this particular plugin will not be compatable. So the author himself is being unproductive in the approach to releasing a product, not me the person that wasted their time installing it and now having to uninstall it as the uninstall fuction does not remove the tables from the database.

Why I would deactivate a perfectly good, and usable product such as zoints SEO to get this one working is beyond me.
