can someone confirm that the new zip works fine in 3.60?

what new zip? if you're talking about the one posted a few posts above, it's already been confirmed that it DOES NOT fully work. but it does work for the most part.

what does not work? just the cron part? (the most important on)

i have two live forums and one test forum. the cron - it's hit and miss on all of them so i uninstalled it. from what i remember is that there were some predefined fields that were not filled in. if you went in and took care of those, it should work fully. i just didn't want to bother with it for whatever reason, but i cant remember why.

Does this work with 3.6.2 or not?

It doesn't work for me. It doesn't work even I run cron job manually. I've read FAQ and I'm sure all options are configured properly, "Forbid..." hack is not installed, tried to re-install etc... no luck.

Same here, even on the 3.5.4 it still didn't work for me =\
