If you are using custom skin ask the skin developer

have you tried to change it from forumhome.css ?

i already try the default vb4 template
still dont show ESB

actually i upgrade my vb from 3.8 to 4.1.10
not fresh install 4.1.10
then i use custom template from completevb
i found this mod and straight way tried it
but no luck

do i need to enable "forum sidebar and block options" together with ESB?

We have a problem with the hide ability of the sidebar in version 1.5 on our 4.1.10 installation. The user can hide the complete sidebar, but it won't save the hidden stat. As soon as the user reloads or goes to a new page, the sidebar is open again. Any ideas what might be the cause?

Hiding blocks within the sidebar works. Oh, and vB complains about the explode() in the sidebarext_temp template :)

Yes you do and you need to add blocks! If the default vb sidebar is not shown on homepage this will willl not show anywhere.

I don't have this. I wish you'd just fix this bug since everyone comments on it, and you don't provide a clear fix for it to line up properly. I am unable to use this hack until that is corrected. I don't want the side bar to be slightly higher than the posts. It does not look clean and appears out of whack with the rest of the site. If you have further advice on what to tweak to correct the height, I look forward to it. I think it's a great tool, but I keep trying to find a place to fix it and it is not where you say it is. Sigh!

This file can be found at clientscript/vbulletin_css directory. If you don't want to use "Store CSS Stylesheets as Files" you go to options->style&langauge settings scroll down and set "Store CSS Stylesheets as Files" to No. After setting it to no any changes you make in style variable will take effect on the sidebar.

I'm sorry, I just give up. Your directions aren't really clear nor step by step when it comes to dealing with 4.1.10.

The hack does work as advertised, but your instructions to lower the block to the proper alignment does not. At least not for my version of VB.

Hi Almannai

I have an issue with the version 1.5. after the upgrad of VB from 4.1.6 to 4.1.10 all the pages based on search.php gave me an error 500 internal server error.
After investigation with VB support, by disabling ESB all the pages come back without error.

Have you already see that ?
thx
