Why do files only play for about 10 seconds then quit in Internet Explorer.

And with all video files all I get is a blank white screen, sometime I get a black screen with play now, but now of the time its just a blank white screen.. Does anyone know what the heck is going on with this thing?

Installed - but not really working

Google video's - unsupported media type
YouTube "Failed .." under IE
