At least the journals will display now, and people should be able to update it. Everyone that should have access to it in the admincp may not, though. Hi! Thanks for your upload. We were able to fix the permissions and the bbcode issue here is our fix, so far the site users are not reporting any other journal issues.

i'm new to all this so i didn't understand anything he was talkin about. all i really understood was that when you get that error, look in journal.php for the line its erroring on... then i'm lost after that

Basically, find any instance of [private] in your templates, and change them to ['private'].. I think.. :)

well i did a "Search Templates" and searched for "[private]" and changed all the ones i found to "['private']" in the Journal templates, and i'm still getting this lame error.... SOMEONE!

I'm working on an update for this, and hope to bring out a fully functional 3.6.0 version that works 100% with PHP5 and MySQL 4.1, with Andreas' permission (possibly with a new feature or two) as it doesn't look as though he'll be doing any further development on it..

Seems to work for me on 3.6, I just had to resave my journal settings. Maybe Im missing something?

Hey everyone
Is there any way to edit other users' journals? For example, as the administrator, how do I delete other users' entries or edit them if they violate policies?

Yeah.. I'm quite surprised at how little needed to be done.

I'm just working on cleaning up the templates a little now *cringes at defaults again*.
