Do you get a message on there.

There used to be a too strick error checking in the vbgooglemapme.php but that has been gone for a while.

Are you sure you are running the latest version?

Hi,

I`m too stupid or tired or both :tired: to find out how to install the "vbgooglemapme deutsch.xml" language file. Can anybody help me?

Thank you,
Sacha

You can use the functions in Languages & Phrases to do just that.

Upload the phrase file

Hope this helps

Sprachen & Phrase -> Sprachen hochladen -> XML Datei importieren (siehe Bild: Wichtig ist, dass du DEUTSCH ausw?hlst, weil du sonst die Original Phrasen ?berschreibst)

Ogden,

If you are running specific styles you need to upload the images to that directory too.

Als don't forget to set all the usergroup markers in the admincp before launching it.

You can select a usergroup marker and set the usergroup to show or not show in the legend

that should fix your issue.

I have many user groups, but only have two colour markers. Light blue for every usergroup APART from Global and Forum Moderators (green) and Administrators (orange).

For some reason, some moderators appear the correct colour, some appear light blue. They all have either forum or global moderator as their primary usergroup.

Any guesses?

Hello Mini2,

Normally it should show the primary.

Make sure you force a recreate of the XML by

running the scheduled task or click your entry and the update button.

You may want to give the suggestion from DRN a try. But I'll check.

I have been trying to solve the issue of using a user's Display Group ID rather than their Primary User Group ID - and made the following change of line 71 of the vbgooglemapme.php code from:

PHP Code:

$usergroupid $vbulletin->userinfo['usergroupid'];

to:

PHP Code:

$usergroupid $vbulletin->userinfo['displaygroupid'];

Can you please check what usergroupid is in the googlemapme table in the database.

I think that that isn't the correct ID.

I'll put the whole usergroupid architecture on the revision list for 2.5.2.

It will be fixed, thanks for your patience.

stonyarc,

are you aware that "Find me!" addon dramaticaly increase number of queries (double!) for showthread.php and average server Load?

Just wanna let you know. I've disabled that hook for now.

stonyarc 05-24-2006 05:51 AM

I'm aware of that as the plugin retrieves the info and builds the locator string "on the fly".

There are some things I still want to change and this is one of them.

as said before a work in progress, but the application has come a long way since the first release.
