The commands imported fine for me, but I also added the .xml files to the /includes/xml folder, not sure if that made any difference.

Also, I want the chat box to display when I click on "New Posts" so it shows above all the new posts too. Where would I need to place the command for that? Thanks for an awesome mod!

It imports just fine, but go to "command options" in the admimCP of this chat. You'll see its empty.

You also have to import each individual command .xml file in the commands manager. Browse to the folder for the command you want, and import the.xml file from the command manager with the chatbox admincp.

Go to the usergroups, and enable so that you can see it. Its set on "no" as default on every usergroup.

I've installed it, awesome chat box! But, is there any way the box can be refreshed then a user has typed something new? This way, you can prevent tons of new messages in xx seconds. And I'll try the import.

EDIT:
He's right, I've installed the ban plugin for the chat box, but I don't see any commands through the command option menu .. It's empty. I am also using vb 3.7

Hum question: Have you imported both two chatbox products (the normal one and the one for commands) ?

Files from FR and EN Commands dir are little bit different. Example for Ban:

mgc_cb_evo_cmd_ban.php on line 9
PHP Code:

define('CSRF_PROTECTION'true);

mgc_cb_evo_cmd_ban.js on line 19
PHP Code:

'&securitytoken=' SECURITYTOKEN);

(both examples are availible in FR verson, but none in EN)

and also i don't understand the meaning of product-mgc_cb_evo_cmd.xml, its empty:

Code:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

<product productid="mgc_cb_evo_cmd" active="1">
    <title>MGC Chatbox Evo Commands</title>
    <description>Product to handle commands settings and languages</description>
    <version>0.0.0</version>
    <url>http://www.vb-hacks.org</url>
    <versioncheckurl />
    <dependencies>
    </dependencies>
    <codes>
    </codes>
    <templates>
    </templates>
    <plugins>
    </plugins>
    <phrases>
    </phrases>
    <options>
    </options>
    <helptopics>
    </helptopics>
    <cronentries>
    </cronentries>
    <faqentries>
    </faqentries>
</product>

Maybe there's a problem?

No it's normal that the product is empty ! It's in order to avoid the commands to be imported again after each new chatbox version (way to deal with the way vBulletin is coded on the mod import part).

Also, another small word error:

Repescted? Should be Respected :).

And it is possible that you can set some channels to be viewed only be specific usergroups?

Noted !

You can already specify restricted accesses for channels.

You don't need to put them in the includes/xml directory :)

You have to set it so that it shall appear under the navbar on all the pages and add SEARCH in the pages list.

uninstaled and when i try to change some on usergroup i get this
Code:

MySQL Error  : Unknown column 'mgc_cb_evo_permissions' in 'field list'
Error Number  : 1054

any ideas ?

You haven't followed uninstall instructions correctly !

You should have removed files before removing the product.

Import the product again and follow correctly uninstall instructions.
