Also another good idea would be the ability to have custom or global custom commands appear when you click on some ones name. I see you have the message fucntion ban and so on. It again would make life easy if i could just click on some ones name and it comes up in the drop down box slap trade kick and so on.

Might be alittle hard to impliment but still to be the best it is the small details that count and the ones most people do not even notice until there gone

how do you change the text box colour?

It gets its color from the forum skin you use.

I am currently testing this on our forum, with possibility of upgrading to pro if our members are happy.

I do however have a few questions.

1. Where is the css to change the hi-light colour of the text input box? Its coming up as white, making it very hard to read the text inputting, cannot locate using firebug
2. Can we move the text input field to below the shoutbox rather that to the left, without changing code.
3. Show active users elsewhere on site, i.e. forum statistics at the bottom of forum home, or a cms box.
4. Is there a smart phone aware version in the pipeline?
5. With the pro version, pop out mode - does the browser notify that there are new messages? i..e so i can see from taskbar that there is/have been new messages since i last looked?
6. can we invite people to chat who are not looking at the chat window? i.e. browsing the site elsewhere.

That could quickly clutter up the menu though - the Pro version has a lot more options (prune per-user, quick link to infract member, etc) :)

The input area works off of two StyleVars:
input_background and control_focus_background. The first is before the user selected the input area, and the 2nd is while the user is typing.

The actual shouts' background area works off of the postbit_background StyleVar.

That's an option in the Pro version.

Not currently possible due to the fact that we can have more than 1 shoutbox.

This version already works well in the default browser on Android 2.3.3 and one of our team members is running iOS and it also works in Safari :)

When I try to import the xml file, I press import and get an Internal Server Error

That's unfortunately not something we can assist with, please contact your web host. Random 500 ISE error messages indicates a server problem.

Ah, that i didn't want to read :( - What will the lifespan be of this mod? - i'm looking to install something which will be managed and upgraded through the newer versions of VB coming in the pipeline.
