The text was by default black in the chatbox , but if users change it to a colour, the chatbox remembers that colour next time they log in. Probably easiest solution.

oh--The best solution is too have the default text changed.. Many users will go in and type first and then get ticked off because they have to change that so in reality your script isn't working correctly... Having the default text dark and the background dark is not the ideal set up...

I don't know, I haven't even looked at the xml yet and I was hoping not too but I don't believe anyone wants to offer support with this issue..

Paulvev, I am surprised you are getting e-mails left and right from members complaining about there text not showing..

The chatbox at my forum looks superb. I'm 99.9% sure the problem with the "dark styles" is a problem with the style itself, not the mod.

Is your default text white or is it having to be changed? The chat looks great, my only issue is the text being dark. I want the default text to be light is all..

So, is your default text white or are your members having to change it?
