yes, i figured it out last night, thank you for your help. so, what's the difference between "thanks" and "like" ? everybody is asking me that question. |
You can set up different reputation level for each if you like, or you can disable the Like button :)

this is super just installed it on www.naijafinder.com Thanks man

After upgrading my site to vb 4.1.11, I then upgraded this mod to the latest version (the Novemeber release, yes I know I am like 5 months late)
Anyways, after doing that, users randomly get a popup saying "invalid post ID" when they try to like or thank some posts. It seems to be completely random. I have tried repairing and optimizing the posts table of the database, as well as the dbtech tables. I also tried installing the mod again. I havent tried doing a full uninstall of the mod and then reinstall because I do not want my members to lose all of their likes/thanks. Is there anything else I can try Fillip? |
Someone else reported that this can happen if they try to like / thank a post from a user that has been deleted.
Sadly without any common denominators I can't do much :( I'll put up a change later today that will print out the postid it thinks is invalid, that should help narrow it down :) EDIT: Grab a Lite version with this change included here: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/vbeco...o&productid=22 Let me know when you've found something in common with the postids that produce the error (specific usergroup, deleted users, etc) so that I can test it :) Fillip |

Mine is a forum for softball umpires, so that may explain my lack of vision. ;) I should probably clarify that I'm running vBulletin 4.1.11, just in case. |
