Doesn't work well with dark styles without css work. uninstalled..

must be 20 people including myself been asking the same question in this thraed with zero answers.

EDIT: Figured this out and unlike most i wont keep it to myself :)

I have been wanting to add this chatbox to a vip forum and no where else in the forum. The forum id for VIp on our forum is 17. so for the folowing example replace 17 with the correct forum id on your forum.

heres the idiots guide i have been requesting

1) Open the FORUMDISPLAY Template
2) add the following code

<vb:if condition="THIS_SCRIPT == 'forumdisplay' AND $forumid == 17">
{vb:raw vsachatbox}
</vb:if>

save


3) Go to vsa chatbox settings in admincp and enter the following settings

Show ChatBox on pages (comma separated THIS_SCRIPT locations) = $forumid == 17

Show ChatBox in templates (comma separated template names) = FORUMDISPLY

Position on page (Disable if you add ChatBox manually in templates) = Below navbar

enable cb = yes

save

some may say the above is wrong but there the settings i have and it works for me..

So I took the script out of FORUMDISPLAY and it seems to be working.

This mod worked very well. However, can you help me how to show active users below the Chat Box on the FORUMHOME?

Does anyone have this script working well on a dark forum? If so please contact me or reply. I think the script works well but this issue is important and it seems to be skipped over every time anyone asks.

So please, please, please--If anyone has this working with a dark style let me know. If not at some point I will fix this myself and post here but I would really rather not have to spend the time..

I have it working on 4.0.5 clean install first time.

I don't know, there are other guys here having the same issue. I had to remove it because the text was not coming out white and could not be read...

when typing does the default text come out white or do you have to change it for each post?? Not that you said that I have to check and make sure I am even posting in the right thread. I have tried every one of these...

I guess it could be my css...not sure
