I am pretty lazy, so I will probably wait for it to be implemented, lol, unless you can give me a "find & replace" guide haha, I know you don't get paid anything for this so I wouldn't ask that of you.

This is a great system and I really appreciate your hard work.

A feature I would really like would be a way for the gifts to be categorized in the actual point market, so let's say I have sports items, a user can hit sports, and he will see all the gifts available in that category. Right now the categories are just for the postbit, I believe.

I looked into your color request a bit more, what I am going to do on the next version of the Point Market is either in the maintenance section or somewhere on the ACP/MCP have a list of colors. By default the majority of them will be enabled. You can disable whatever ones you don't want to be used but won't be able to add any new ones. That's just because I have the colors hard coded into templates and css so this would be the easiest way to let you control what DOESN'T appear that won't look good with your styles and such.

With that being said, any colors you want in, just request it here and I'll make sure in the next release they are on there. I'm going to try and massively expand the color selection in the next release.



As for my nightly update, I spent about 5 hours tonight working on the coupon addition. It is a MAJOR addon to the 3.1.0 release and has been heavily requested since the 2x series. I'm still probably a few days away from finishing just because of how extensive I'm making this feature, but I really think you guys will enjoy it once it is complete.

As always, keep up with the new feature suggestions and improvements in any area of the Point Market that you want to see. I do my best to make sure everything (within reason) is included into the Market that I can.

Finally, for you vBExperience users, Phalynx is releasing a new release I believe today. I don't know if it will visually appear or not but on the next release there is going to be a way for you to purchase achievements for your profile through the Point Market. This will be completely available upon the next release of 3.1.0

I would love to use this with vBExperience on my 3.8.x site is there any change to get this point system for vBExperience on 3.8 ?

Even if I can get the Point Market to work with the vbulletin 3.8 system, there would need to be customizations done to vBExperience by Phalynx to get it to work. I've had a lot of issues trying to get this thing downgraded and probably am going to pay someone to take the PM 3.0.1 to downgrade it for vb 3.8 then I'll apply the latest changes to it.

It'd work with all other point systems except vBExperience I believe.

Awesome! Thanks for including the color removal option.

Main reason here being I don't want members changing their username colors to Donating Members, Admins, Premium Members, Moderators, etc's colors :P
