I'm a little confused. VBookie is installed and i can see all options. Editied all usergroups etc. I can create a thread as a VBookie item and enter the odds etc. I change the date to accept bets and payout 4 days in the future. However, when i submit the post all i see is the thread? No betting options?

Under Vbookie all i can see the the item with thread, info and delete options. Huh?

The event does not seem to be posting. I have ensured all permissions are set correctly.

For some reason, pages 2+ on my SETTLED category don't show any rows. Only page 1 has rows shown. Why? Is this a known bug?

Sorry to bother. does anyone know where my problem could be coming from? My forum is due to be converted and released today and i was hoping VBookie would be working prior to that.

As mentioned I post the oddds etc and post the event but the odds etc are not there except for the thread so noone can actually bet on it?

it also does the samething for New bets. i added 22 bets on my localhost. I wish i knew how to fix this problem.

wierd. i am running 3.51 vbulletin and installed this vbookie. Everything works but i wqas unable to add or set permissions.

I goto Usergroups and try to set permissions to administrator and registered but there is no category for Vbookie to set. Any clue?

Does anyone know how to reset the vcash of members who have less than 500v's?

It takes a LONG time for my Settled events page to load. Is there anything I can do to speed that up? Setting one of the database items as an index?

Open events and Closed events don't take as long but aren't exactly speedy either.

Do I need to manually prune old events from the database or something?

Anyone got an idea about this error?

I have created events but when users try to bet on an item they get the "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator". However, if you go back and check the money has been placed?

This way anyone can make an event but someone with authority has to validate it.

My users love vBookie but are betting some insane amounts. Can I request a new "feature" where you can set the maximum amount that can be bet on any item. For example, $15,000 would be the maximum amount they could bet.

Can anyone help me please? Do i have to rebuild bitfields or something to stop this invalid link problem happening? I have tripled check my installation and it seems fine with all the correct additions to the templates. I just need to know where i can start troubleshooting this problem.

Recently upgraded from 3.5.1 to 3.5.3.

All vBookie Data, Bets (current and settled) are intact.

When I try to create a new vBookie event the option to create the event in no longer available (ie.. the checkbox).

I checked the permissions in the admincp which remained the same as they were prior to the vbulletin upgrade.

Anybody have a similiar experience?

What I have done so far (just to make sure) -

Rebuilt BitFields
Turned vBookie On and Off
Set Permissions Off and On

Can anyone tell me why my permissions will not stay..........I go to usergroups as well as forum permissions, set them to yes and click save and when I go back and check they are all at no......it wont take.....any ideas?

The money is laid down in the bet and i have reinstalled this a number of times and reimported all files and checked all templates edits.

Could not find phrase 'edirect_betthanks'.?? Only one other user has had this problem on post 239. Do i need to create a new phrase for it and edit vbookie.php?

Abandoning the event gives Could not find phrase 'edirect_abandon'.

EDIT: Oh. Why is this there part of the phrase missing (above) whe n it should be like below.

I got a bug. I disabled my super moderators to not be able to edit Vbookie events and for the most part they can't. But they are able to settle bets and choose winners of the events. Got a fix anyone?

ive got vbadvanced and in the front page the vbookie link in the link bar doesnt work because its going to domain.com/vbookie, instead of domain.com/forum/vbookie.

I've set up Vbookie on VB 3.5.3, and private bets aren't private - anyone can see a private bet another person has made.

I've checked the settings etc, but see nothing about private bets. Any ideas??

PLease can someone explain to me who to add the Win! feature? I got bets happening and being settled but noone can tell who won.

Important Upgrade Note
If you are upgrading from a previous version, you must check/modify your vBookie settings afterwards as those have changed.

To upgrade do I just upload the XML and overwrite or ....?
