Upload song by jukebox is not easy , and sometime , it can't play music ( the link is good ) !
U can upload the music by Flash FXP or Cute FTP .... to the Folder U want . After that , U creat the file like x.m3u , in this file , U write the link to the song U want to play ! and , now , in vb_jukebox admincp , U upload x.m3u ! It's very small , and plays well . |
I installed, it works. BUT... for some reason "I" cant hear any songs! every one else can... It says playing. But i dont hear anything! I have tried everything i can think of.
I tried with mozilla and internet explorer! It says playing but i cant hear anything. |
Hi i'm in the progress of setting up a new site and this hack looks exactly what we are looking for. I have one question though.
Can each member have a personal "gallery" of the songs they uploaded as well as have a limit of ex.3 song uploads? looks like an awesome hack btw! |

Is this hack portable to vB 3.5?
|
I have been running this hack since it just first came out with no problems but alot of members register at my site just for my jukebox and dont contribute to the community, does anyone currently running the jukebox see a way I can restrict members by the amount of posts they have ?????????????????????????
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I might even throw you some money if someone can help me out, I'm loosing the on going fight LOL, too many people just register for my jbox, again any help is greatly appreciated... http://bb.hiphop.org/vb_jukebox.php |
How do you add a control bar (i.e. forward, play, stop, volume etc) for audio files?
|
Also, is there a way to fix the:
Unknown Location /vb_jukebox.php?do=main in WhoisOnline? |
what is the difference between this and vBulletin Radio?

Any help before I lose my patience and wizz my computer through the window? |
DO NOT INSTALL THIS HACK TO 3.0.7 UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO DO A LOT OF WORK FIXING IT SINCE IT IS FULL OF ERRORS AS IT STANDS IT WILL NOT INSTALL CORRECTLY WITH THE INSTALLER!
If you got to a part of the install that gave you errors and now want to remove the hack you must first go to: http://mysite.com/forum/install/hack_install.php?do=install&step=doedits&hacks=Juk ebox (obviously substitute "mysite.com/forum" with the address of your site) and then click on the links until it says you are finished. The HIS needs to cache a file that says you installed the file, or it won't proceed with an uninstall. |

Hey, I was wondering if you could post the query here to delete the database files for it... My friend tried over-installing and messed everything up, so I need to uninstall it manually by deleting the database entries, because, while installing, it keeps on saying there is a duplicate entry, and ect. Thanks :).
|
tells me to fill the required fields when i use the upload feature from the jukebox in the admin cp. what is wrong
|
also it doesnt seem to work right. it keeps saying I am not allowed to use it but I am the admin

There is a custom online hack -- just search for it on this forum, that is where I got it.

that's what i came to figure out. i just upgraded to 3.5 and it's not working because of a 'globalize' error, but i really haven't looked into the code yet. i think it will work after editing the jukebox script a little. like i said, i havent looked yet, coming here is my first step cuz it's the easiest solution. :P |

you guys need to read the readme file. more than likely you're not going to be able to just 'upload' a song, you will HAVE to do it manually. follow THOSE directions already provided. that's how i got it to work. i also put a reply in this thread, i think on page 31, exactly what i had to do to get it to work. as far as not hearing your songs being played, delete it and add it manually following my instructions. and no, im not the guy who made this hack, just a user that's had minimal problems. hope i've helped ya'll out. |
The hack installed perfectly, however i have a issue.
1. When I upload a song from the admin_cp it works fine, however when I try to upload a song from the user upload section it doesnt go into the folder. The folder is in my forums directory. ie www.blahblah.com/forum/midi and in the vboptions "media folder" i have it read midi. It sits there uploading and then takes me back to the main jukebox page, however the file isnt in the midi folder or in my song list (in the admin section) Whats going on here???? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Peace |
^^OK well for some reason if i set a max limit in the admincp it wont allow large files to upload via the user, for now ive set it to '0' and the problem is gone....guess itll do for now, seeing we can moderate the songs going up....NICE HACK...INSTALLED
