microclassifieds/datagrid/class/phpmydatagrid.class refuses to upload. The file continuously attempts to overwrite itself and times out on a peer connection refusal. As a result we've had to uninstall the product, however, upon so doing we are receiving the following database error:

The product has been uninstalled and all uploaded files have been manually deleted. All existing tables named "microclassifieds_" have also been deleted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mike I'll kill you:D The blue bar you want to change or to remove that padding from left and right? If you want to change the style you need to edit the templates:
microclassifieds_searchgrid
microclassifieds_browsegrid

i dont want to change the padding i want to change the color of the bar to match the style i am using. the templates make no reference to the color and i have changed both css sheets and nothing happens. i can change the font and font style but cant get rid of the stupid color. agghhh.

i will figure it out if it kills me. you dont need to dewl on it i will get it or die trying.

I placed that "stupid" color there and is not color. If you do a right click on the header you'll see that it's a background image.

and it still didnt go away. im just gonna go with the greenday skin. not worth pulling my hair out for a background

i can get to the forum main page now but when i try the classified page it says page not found
what is the link to the classifieds?

it looks like this error is different from the last. i would try installing the xml file again with the overright option checked. maybe not all the tables we created correctly

what version of PHP, VB and MySQL are you using?

Found the table entry. Was able to delete it. Now to contact the host regarding why the class file won't upload. That problem is in no way your modification. Apologies for any perceived rudeness on my part. Rather frustrating to be at a complete loss.

I just went to the vBulletin site and the latest version to download is 4.0.1 Patch Level 2. I have an owned (but inactive) liscense. Do I need to renew it just to download this latest version?

you would have to renew to get access to the newer versions or use microclassifieds version 4.9.5

We just upgraded tp PHP 5.3.6 and I believe that is when the deprecated errors showed up. That is all that Guests see but if you are registered it flashes and then still proceeds to the Classifieds. I know we need to look into this so if you have ideas on that as well...

vB is 4.1.5 and MySQL is 5.1.56.

have you tried to reinstall php? that's were i would start first. it is hard to determine the cause of any errors on any mod if the core product is not working 100%

Is there a option to keep from creating a Classifieds Tab in the Navbar?

I installed the mod, but I cannot access it, i've looked everywhere in the admin section and for the life of me, I cannot figure out where to allow myself access to the mod, it gives the sorry, you do not have permission to view the page, yet i'm in the admin/owner group with full permissions.

Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Administrator

One of the first few groups will show all the permissions for microClassifieds.

There is no option that I have found, so while I am testing, I've wrapped the "microclassifieds_tabmenu" template with the following code

At the top:
x = the usergroup numbers that you want to be able to see the Classifieds Tab

At the bottom:
You could also do this in the plugin too, but I didn't want it to affect all templates.

We've gone back to PHP 5.2.17 as both this mod and vBGarage appear to be incompatible with PHP 5.3.x. It resolved the issues you were seeing when trying to visit my link, but I am still having the same issue with the Get RSS link.

You can open Products & Plugins -> Plugin Manager and find the MicroClassifieds plugins. One of them will reference the NAVTAB. Just uncheck that one so it is not active and you will no longer have the NAVTAB.

Still seems kinda buggy tho. when someone buys something you get a pm, then nothing shows under sold or pending only accept. under that tabs the drop down only gives you two options, delete or reject. also, I had two members try to test it out, both posts were unable to be place until moderation, so I went to approve them from the drop down box and it basically gets stuck, the only way to approve them is to go to the ad, click on edit, then on approve. this has such potential for an awesome add-on.
