Is there still support for this style? Because I've taken a liking to it, but have come across a few problems. I'd really appreciate any help.
In the Member pages, the background suddenly turned gray. It broke the style, and now it is no longer possible to see the members' post count.

Qwk86gn 10-08-2011 07:16 AM

I can no longer support the style. I do not have a current install of vB nor do I plan to upgrade/update. Far to many changes to keep up with.

Sorry everyone but it is time for me to move on.

Hippy 10-08-2011 12:02 PM

thanks for the time we got to use it ..
I hear ya about all the damn changes ..

What about your premium styles? Do you keep up with the changes?

Bob_R 10-08-2011 05:44 PM

What changes have occurred?

The only problem I'm having is, sometimes I and other users as well, can't get to the 2nd page of some threads. And, I believe this is not a problem of the Blackend style but pleasse correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks. I still dig the style and will probably keep it regardless. Unless the problem mentioned above in my post here is the result of the style. :D

I spent a couple hrs trying to update it from 4.1.4 to 4.1.6 and the way profiles and the editor is being customized is beyond being easy. Also the CMS underwent some chaing as did blogs (commetns ect..) and to me that sort of changing mid-stream is really mind boggling. Besides I received a few good donations and such but nothing to warrant the continued support.

The main thing is not having spare time and keeping up with the updates.

Bob_R 10-08-2011 07:39 PM

OK. Maybe that's why my Editor in a users' profile (visitor messages) is all messed up.

I think the 4.1.6 update broke some aspects of this.

When I click on the Edit button and goto Save, it does nothing and neither does Advanced and the buttons are all jumbled up together in the editor when you try to edit a post.

Its not because there is something wrong with this theme, I had the same issue and i thought its just the theme that i had on, but i found out that did a template edit and i missed some coding and that caused me not edit any posts, couldn't let me go advance and all the same issues that u have and once i fixed the coding everything started working just fine like before. Do u remember adding any mod/template edits before all this happened ?

Can u put on a screenshot cux i had some issues with users profile and i got it fixed but i am just not sure if u have the same problem or not?

Hello Qwk86gn

I already read ur post where u mentioned that u won't be able to update this style anymore. I just upgraded to 4.1.7 and got very few versions conflicts in "Postbit_legacy" template. I am just pasting them here. If u think its something u can do or if u allow anyone else to fix it (permission to keep it alive :) )

OK. See screenshot provided.

Thanks.

The style has no template edits, if a template shows outdated then it is because of a mod or a template edit that you have done.

Easiest way to compare templates is with Notepad++ with the Compare Plugin.

Open the outdated version in a new window then the default in another. Go to "plugins -> Compare". After that it is pretty easy to understand. After making the correct changes to the template, revert the outdated one for the style then paste the new version in.

vanquish.securi 10-09-2011 12:34 AM

Works great on vB 4.1.7. Marked.

I had the same issue but mine wasn't on just one style it was on all styles and what i did i removed userid -1 from customrprofile from the database. If u wanna try this fix please make sure u do the backup before you touch anything else. mine was fixed when i removed "userid -1" so that might help u or not, i'm not sure :(

how can I fix this, can someone help me?

thank you

Hippy 01-24-2012 10:43 PM

there is a px missing in one of your padding in your stylevar
onpen up your admincp then go to your styles and click edit stylevar and then tick show edited only or "padding" might work.. and look at each one to figure out what one.. when you find one missing click the drop window and slecet px

I'm having the same problem as Jack150464 but can't seem to find exactly which one to edit, I've checked all the style vars with "padding" in their names and all have px selected..

any ideas?

Hippy 01-31-2012 11:08 PM

send me a link to your site so I can seee what one it is

Kiint 02-01-2012 02:25 PM

It's only on a local server at the moment until I go live. I want to get this working before I move forward :)

I'm having the same menu problem as stated in my last post and I'm using vb 4.1.10 (which I know this style isn't made for, but it does look good)

Kiint 02-01-2012 08:35 PM

Found it,

Need to set Navigation Bar Tab Size under the Navbar stylevar to PX units and everything works fine.

Thanks for the point in the right direction :)

Kiint 02-21-2012 08:47 PM

I have a new problem with this style:

When I reply to a post and click on Advanced the Additional Options mess up, the

all overlap the boxed underneath them by about 5-6 pixels.

Any ideas on where I should go to fix this?

All help is appreciated.

myke2008 03-01-2012 03:22 PM

I think this style got broken by the 4.1.11, can anyone confirm this for me?

prophetmuhammad 03-20-2012 02:53 PM

yep it's broken

LLent 03-20-2012 03:49 PM

is a very nice style i hope there is an update for 4.1.11

GandalfDDUK 03-20-2012 07:04 PM

try removing it from your forum then re-import it and use the ignore current version check, then just go through the style variables and change them to suit, it can't have changed that much if it was working on 4.1.8 as stated earlier.

stilly 04-08-2012 06:33 PM

Someone, if permitted, should take this over and re-write for 4.1.11 and on. I'd even donate to the cause ;)

ForceHSS 04-08-2012 06:46 PM

I dont see this being updated ever
