Is there still support for this style? Because I've taken a liking to it, but have come across a few problems. I'd really appreciate any help.
In the Member pages, the background suddenly turned gray. It broke the style, and now it is no longer possible to see the members' post count. |
I can no longer support the style. I do not have a current install of vB nor do I plan to upgrade/update. Far to many changes to keep up with.
Sorry everyone but it is time for me to move on. |
thanks for the time we got to use it ..
I hear ya about all the damn changes .. |

What changes have occurred?
The only problem I'm having is, sometimes I and other users as well, can't get to the 2nd page of some threads. And, I believe this is not a problem of the Blackend style but pleasse correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks. I still dig the style and will probably keep it regardless. Unless the problem mentioned above in my post here is the result of the style. :D |

The main thing is not having spare time and keeping up with the updates. |
OK. Maybe that's why my Editor in a users' profile (visitor messages) is all messed up.

Hello Qwk86gn
I already read ur post where u mentioned that u won't be able to update this style anymore. I just upgraded to 4.1.7 and got very few versions conflicts in "Postbit_legacy" template. I am just pasting them here. If u think its something u can do or if u allow anyone else to fix it (permission to keep it alive :) ) Your Customized Value <a class="editpost" href="{vb:raw post.editlink}" name="vB::QuickEdit::{vb:raw post.postid}"><img src="{vb:raw vboptions.cleargifurl}" id="editimg_{vb:raw post.postid}" alt="{vb:rawphrase edit_delete_message}" /> {vb:rawphrase edit_post}</a> <span class="seperator"> </span> Old Default Value <a class="editpost" href="{vb:raw post.editlink}" name="vB::QuickEdit::{vb:raw post.postid}"><img src="{vb:raw vboptions.cleargifurl}" id="editimg_{vb:raw post.postid}" alt="{vb:rawphrase edit_delete_message}" /> {vb:rawphrase edit_post}</a> <vb:if condition="THIS_SCRIPT != 'usernote' && THIS_SCRIPT != 'announcement'"><span class="seperator"> </span></vb:if> New Default Value <a class="editpost" href="{vb:raw post.editlink}" name="vB::QuickEdit::{vb:raw post.postid}" title="{vb:rawphrase edit_delete_message}"><img src="{vb:raw vboptions.cleargifurl}" id="editimg_{vb:raw post.postid}" alt="{vb:rawphrase edit_delete_message}" /> {vb:rawphrase edit_post}</a> <vb:if condition="THIS_SCRIPT != 'usernote' && THIS_SCRIPT != 'announcement'"><span class="seperator"> </span></vb:if> & Your Customized Value <a id="qr_{vb:raw post.postid}" class='quickreply' href="{vb:raw post.replylink}" rel="nofollow"><img id="replyimg_{vb:raw post.postid}" src="{vb:raw vboptions.cleargifurl}" alt="{vb:rawphrase quick_reply_to_this_message}" /> {vb:rawphrase reply}</a> Old Default Value <a id="qr_{vb:raw post.postid}" class='quickreply' href="{vb:raw post.replylink}&noquote=1" rel="nofollow"><img id="replyimg_{vb:raw post.postid}" src="{vb:raw vboptions.cleargifurl}" alt="{vb:rawphrase quick_reply_to_this_message}" /> {vb:rawphrase reply}</a> New Default Value <a id="qr_{vb:raw post.postid}" class='quickreply' href="{vb:raw post.replylink}&noquote=1" rel="nofollow" title="{vb:rawphrase quick_reply_to_this_message}"><img id="replyimg_{vb:raw post.postid}" src="{vb:raw vboptions.cleargifurl}" alt="{vb:rawphrase quick_reply_to_this_message}" /> {vb:rawphrase reply}</a> If i just "revert" it would that solve all this or not ? Thanks :) |

Thanks. |
The style has no template edits, if a template shows outdated then it is because of a mod or a template edit that you have done.
Easiest way to compare templates is with Notepad++ with the Compare Plugin. Open the outdated version in a new window then the default in another. Go to "plugins -> Compare". After that it is pretty easy to understand. After making the correct changes to the template, revert the outdated one for the style then paste the new version in. |
Works great on vB 4.1.7. Marked.

I had the same issue but mine wasn't on just one style it was on all styles and what i did i removed userid -1 from customrprofile from the database. If u wanna try this fix please make sure u do the backup before you touch anything else. mine was fixed when i removed "userid -1" so that might help u or not, i'm not sure :( |

|
I tried to install this on 4.1.7 and now no matter what I do (except for when in the ACP), even after installing many other styles and trying everything, I only get a white screen on my forum. Please help

how can I fix this, can someone help me?
thank you |
there is a px missing in one of your padding in your stylevar
onpen up your admincp then go to your styles and click edit stylevar and then tick show edited only or "padding" might work.. and look at each one to figure out what one.. when you find one missing click the drop window and slecet px |

any ideas? |
send me a link to your site so I can seee what one it is
|
It's only on a local server at the moment until I go live. I want to get this working before I move forward :)
I'm having the same menu problem as stated in my last post and I'm using vb 4.1.10 (which I know this style isn't made for, but it does look good) |
Found it,
Need to set Navigation Bar Tab Size under the Navbar stylevar to PX units and everything works fine. Thanks for the point in the right direction :) |
I have a new problem with this style:
When I reply to a post and click on Advanced the Additional Options mess up, the Attachments Subscriptions Rate Thread After you submit your message... all overlap the boxed underneath them by about 5-6 pixels. Any ideas on where I should go to fix this? All help is appreciated. |
I think this style got broken by the 4.1.11, can anyone confirm this for me?
|
yep it's broken
|
is a very nice style i hope there is an update for 4.1.11
|
try removing it from your forum then re-import it and use the ignore current version check, then just go through the style variables and change them to suit, it can't have changed that much if it was working on 4.1.8 as stated earlier.
|
Someone, if permitted, should take this over and re-write for 4.1.11 and on. I'd even donate to the cause ;)
|
I dont see this being updated ever
