i know this may sound like a stupid question but did you manually enter the size you wanted your icon to be underneith where you select the icon from the dropdow, it says something like

Select forum icon : Dropdown

Width Px:
Height px:

if you dont manually enter a height and width the picture will be displayed with 0x0px which will not show up..

hhumas 12-03-2011 08:41 AM

You're welcome. ;)

persianpros 12-11-2011 11:49 AM

thanks for this great mod

it has a bug :

it won't let us use images with spaces in their names like "My Test.png" and we have to change these files like "MyTest.png"

;)

kf4eok 12-17-2011 03:09 AM

I have been using this great plugin for a long time now amd I really enjoy it. It makes my forum at http://thestarquestclub.com/forums/forum.php really stand out.
Thanks for the great plugin.

That's not a bug you really shouldn't leave spaces between image names best to use an underscore _ or make it all one word...

I installed, and i have the next problem in my style:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

The icons are hiding the text. Any idea of how can i solve the problem?

Thanks for all.

Fready 01-12-2012 09:45 AM

Your icons are set to what size within the mod in the options?
They are too big by the looks of it, if you have changed the size there you need to match it up in the Style Variable Editor
In there you search for: forumicon_size
And change the size to what ever size you want, try 75

Hi Fready, thanks.

Are the standard size 48x48. I can put the size that i want, less or higher, and still up in the text.If i go to the style variable editor to forumuicon_size,and change there, is the same. Still up in the text.

Fready 01-12-2012 10:56 AM

Yes standard 48x48

All do is change it within the mod options in the vb options and then change it to the same size in the style variable

Are the same Fready, in vboptions are 48x48, in stylevar 48x48 too, and the real size of the icon is 48 x48 too. In other styles i can see propertly, but not in this. It must be another thing. Perhaps a style error?
Thank for your help.

With version 4.1.10 icons sub-forum is not displayed, why?

lazytown 01-15-2012 07:28 PM

Anyone tested this on 4.1.10?

Scimia 01-15-2012 08:50 PM

On the 4.1.10, if you're a visitor, it doesn't resize the icons and show they with them original size..

How to fix this?

chrisngrod 01-15-2012 11:45 PM

It's working fine in 4.1.10 for me, but I size all my icons to 48x48 or close.

Try playing with the numbers here:
in StyleVar under forurms >> forumicon_size

Forum Icon Space Size: XX

bada_bing 01-20-2012 03:59 PM

I have installed this on my vb 4.19 but I cant get the icons to show up? I have chosen the image I want to use and to do the auto template edits but nothing shows up?

I notice you have this installed
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...=276419&page=6

I had the same issue.

The two do not play well together.

baileyjojoms 01-23-2012 12:32 AM

Installed and works great except for one issue. When I double click on the forum icon to mark a forum as read, it automatically marks ALL forums as read.

Running VB 4.1.9 here

Anyone know how I can fix this?

This is a hack that will add icons to your forum categories on the forum home page.

chrisngrod 01-25-2012 08:55 PM

Been upgrading along the way and it works for me. That is unless there is something I'm not seeing...

Feel free to check out the link in the sig. 4.1.10

I.G.O.T.A. 01-25-2012 09:40 PM

TheSupportForum 01-28-2012 09:13 PM

does anyone know how to fix the issue with the images in google chrome

Boofo 01-29-2012 12:14 AM

I don't use Chrome but what is it doing? Can you post a pic?

baileyjojoms 01-29-2012 02:34 AM

This works on sub-forums for me. My only issue is that when you double click on a icon to mark that forum as read, it marks all forums as read. Does anyone have a fix for this? It is very aggravating!
