Any ideas? Code:
Warning: Declaration of vB_Friendly_Url_VaultMainPage::get_url() should be compatible with that of vB_Friendly_Url::get_url() in ..../includes/class_friendly_url.php(287) : eval()'d code on line 1 |

Well, it also seems broken. The editor isn't working right with the wikis.

little help?
|
Did you follow the instructions in the link I provided in the post above yours?
|
I'm using PHP 5.3. I changed that "PHP Compatability (sic)" setting to Yes. But I still get those two warnings. When I actually use the wiki I get even more warnings, and as I showed in the image the above, edit is broken.

Repairing the post cache throws a database error "Invalid SQL" in VB4.2.1 ...
|
Looks like an awesome mod! Downloaded and -trying- to install.
During step 4) Importing Language, I received a couple of errors: Code:
Warning: Declaration of vB_Database_Alter_MySQL::add_index() should be compatible with that of vB_Database_Alter::add_index() in ..../includes/class_dbalter.php on line 882 So I went on with the install and could complete steps 5, 6 and 7 without errors. After which I got a blank page on step 8. I tried manually adjusting the url to step 9 or 10, or even to a previous step, but still got a blank page. As a matter of fact, I get a blank page on the forum itself as well. So before I go any further, is there anyone who has an idea of what's going on and how I can fix this? Before I start again and the same thing happens... Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
This could be a number of things. I have recently seen a similar problem if the mod was installed when vB's sessions table was already full. This would cause database errors on every page load due to a memory overflow. The only way to fix it would be to restore a backup and manually cleanup your sessions table or to increase MySQL's max_heap_table_size and restart MySQL (you would have to do this even if you never install VaultWiki). Then you should be able to install successfully.
However, if you're not seeing database errors in your logs, it's possible you are somehow getting VaultWiki Lite's own blank page issue to occur during the install process. You should be far enough along to access the AdminCP and perform the required install steps in the Namespace Manager which get rid of this error. Once you have done so and you see regular forum pages back, continue the install steps from step 8 onward. If it's neither of these, something else is going on but you should be able to find more information by looking at your logs. |
After installation, the additional.css was not loaded. Whatever I'm doing, all to no avail.
I have uninstalled it, let maintenance go through, style information re-created without success. After overwriting of client-script / vbulletin_css the style works again. I create the new style information is all gone. Where are now data of the installation? Had I known that so many errors on the page I would have never tried to install !! http://s7.directupload.net/images/140220/2k8t24qe.jpg http://s14.directupload.net/images/140220/o4ynrkj9.jpg |
I don't know what version of vBulletin you have, but sometimes you might need to Rebuild Style Information if there is a combination of Store CSS as Files and other settings that are unintuitive. AdminCP > Rebuild > Rebuild Style Information usually works.
Also sometimes you might have to turn Store CSS as Files off, then turn it back on again. In those screenshots, 1 is a VaultWiki 4 error (not related to Lite), 1 is a vBulletin Blog error, and 1 is a vBSEO error. If errors on the site make you not want to install, I suggest not to use vBulletin Blog or vBSEO either... |
I have VB 4.2. No addon active, yet the style is not loaded properly. Because additional.css is ignored.

Make sure your headinclude_bottom template correctly includes {vb:cssfile additional.css}
headinclude_bottom is correctly included by the main template for wiki pages, so it should be included on wiki pages. It is possible that whatever custom CSS you have defined in additional.css is loaded and working, but simply is not applying to elements on wiki pages. Wiki pages use different CSS classes than the rest of the forum. This is intended to give you more flexibility, so you can make the wiki look a little different if you want to. But it might have nothing to do with additional.css and might be your style variables being deleted. This was a known vBulletin bug, and I thought the current Lite release implemented a workaround (see: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/2857/#note14921 for details). As discussed there, you can restore your styles while VaultWiki is still installed, by running the vBulletin upgrade script even though there is nothing to upgrade. |
https://www.vaultwiki.org/ site has an issue
Code:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'public' (T_PUBLIC) in /home/vw/dev/depot/vault/core/view/ui/area/vw.php on line 154 |
I have installed the VaultWiki, but when view the article (.../showwiki.php?.....) i have this error page:
"This webpage has a redirect loop" "Error code: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS" and when i access in the admincp i have this warning: Warning: Declaration of vB_Friendly_Url_VaultMainPage::get_url() should be compatible with that of vB_Friendly_Url::get_url() in ..../vault/special_class_friendlyurl.php on line 122 Warning: Declaration of vB_Friendly_Url_VaultThread::get_url() should be compatible with that of vB_Friendly_Url::get_url() in ..../vault/special_class_friendlyurl.php on line 219 |
VaultWiki Lite is not currently compatible with vBulletin 4.2.1 or higher with PHP 5.4. The developers are currently working on a rewrite which should resolve these issues.

The download attached to this thread has been removed due to known unpatched security issues: https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Book...-Patch-Level-2
If you are still using VaultWiki Lite version 3.0.11, you should migrate to VaultWiki 4. |
