Thanks.
I have another problem that I have only just noticed due to the fact that I use Firefox. It's not displaying properly in IE. I'm not saying it's this plugin, but I wonder if anyone else had the same problem? Basically, If I have too many sidebar blocks, and it goes down further than the forum itself, then the blocks are screwed up and displayed HORIZONTALLY below "What's Going On". Like I say, it's absolutely perfect in Firefox, problem is with IE. |

why you don't custimize your sidebar to have less blocks? |

Does this work fine with 4.0.6? If it doesn't, what are the known issues?
|
So far it's fine in 4.0.6 It's not on the blog page but that can be added by hand I assume or just use a widget, they look the same. You have way more control with this mod, the 114 version does NOT include the feature to keep the box open like the 1.3.3.
I don't see any problems in I.E. 8 the blocks show up just fine. Thanks almannai for this mod I appreciate it. Peace |

Thank you all guys for being here and for you support |
Does anyone know if this is the best sidebar for VB4? or is there
something better? I would also appreciate if I could see a demo of this in action, anyone willing to post their site for review. Does not seem to function in v4.0.6 Blank sidebar with arrow.... I do not see a block confi option as mentioned to set to no... Tried it in IE, and firefox, no change. Thanks |

It should work on 4.0.6 Did you add blocks to sidebar? How To Add Blocks To Sidebar: From your admincp click on "Forums & Moderators" then click "Forum Blocks Manager". Hit "Add Block" you will see a dropdown list of block types. Select the type of block you want and hit continue. Now set your block and save. You are done and this new block should be shown on your sidebar. |
Gotcha, working like a charm... :)
|
Anybody there to help me out? I don't see this in the mod options page:

uninstall the old mod then re-install latest one. If you edit the mod template manually then you need to delete it first |
Thanks dear developer! I took the wrong one... thanks for the quick response. Your mod rocks and I have rated it 5*. Keep up the great job!

Dear developer, Is it not possible for you to provide me with a solution that I can do manually with your instructions now? Because this is important for me now. I hope you can help.
Thank You. |

I'd really like to find out if it's a problem with just my site or a vb-wide one. |
If I hit "New Posts" on my forum right now the sidebar is a lot longer than the center. But it's still all vertical in both IE and FF. Default style.

I think you can use widget for that! Never tried though |
Ha for me this mod works exactly the other way around :) When I enable it and i am not logged in it forces the sidebar perfectly. The moment I login as admin i don't see them anywere anymore ;)
On 4.0.6. with the 1.3.4. mod |
Please ignore my post as I really can't read it seems while its so clear and obvious:
Code:
Show ESB for all members and not members. "No" will exclude members. |

I think it is my mistake it should be re-phrased to make it easier to read eg something like PHP Code:

Fantastic mod, it seems crazy that this is not a default option.
All that said, I am going to be really picky as the alignment is just not quite right for me. My current install looks like this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2010/08/13.jpg I would really like the top of the sidebar to be at the same vertical level as the main conent div to the left of the sidebar. Anybody got any ideas on how to do that? |

Just incase anybody else is searching the thread for a solution to this vertical alignment of the sidebar issue, the resolution is: Open the forumhome.css template and find the #sidebar_container declaration, in there change the padding value to suit your site. I set mine to 50px (original value is 17px) |
