I did the update last night but now the Banners have gone from the top of the page

any idea's what i might of done, they worked fine after the 4.1.11 update.

Did you install a clean version of the skin or upgrade a previous version by overwriting?

In your template manager, search for the 'ad' templates. If any of them are red revert them.

how to get rid of the Blue Pearl Design logo on top?

In your stylevars search for 'titleimage' and change the path to your logo

Anybody having troubles with the blog and CMS styling, please make sure to upload the blog.xml and CMS.xml

This is weird, but I still can't upload those without totally ruining my theme. My CMS and Blog are fine without them :P

What version of vBulletin are you using?
Only thing I can think off is that a plugin or modication is effecting the upload. try disabling plugins before installing the skin

I am still having this issue:

You edit the banner by goto to the stylevars and changing header_background

Skin only need minor fixes mate, you can easily stick to your 4.1.11 version.

4.1.12 version has been added to the first post.

Same here also. I've used this for a long time but the past few versions have gotten worse steadily to the point where I had to remove it as our default.

Did you upload all the contents on the server?

Is this happening on a clean install of the skin?

I will be releasing a new update to this skin today to fix this buy which occured when my demo board messed up.

Mine was both on an update where I copied everything over and a clean install after deleting it completely.

I had installed VB ver.4.1.5 with the Darkness style and everything worked great. Then I installed VB 4.1.12 and now the User Name and Password no longer shows up when entering it into the text fields. I also installed the latest version of Darkness, but still no luck. I can highlight the text after entering it and it is there, just the same color as text field background color. I'm sure this is an easy fix, perhaps just modifying the CSS. I just don't know where to go. Can anyone here help point me in the right direction to cure this?

EDIT: I just noticed that the advanced search also has the text and background colors the same.

I've gone back to VB 4.1.5 until there is a fix for this. I really want to keep this theme because the site is designed oround it.

vBulletin 4.1.12 version 2 has now been uploaded with alot of bug fixes. Sorry for the delay but this did take some time.

Downloaded and going to instal it.

Updating my demo board today, let me know how it goes.

Upgraded to 4.2 and looks great currently running the 4.1.2 version of this style and the only thing I noticed is the new Activity Stream needs a tiny tweak. Still readable and everything else looks fine. Thanks for this style, it works well for my gaming community.

So this is waaaaay later than my original problem, but I discovered that this happens with any theme I have installed. If I add in the cms it force a 50-50 cms layout with the right side holding two sidebars but not displaying correctly. It's weird. Contacting support and if I get a response I'll get back to you.

How long for 4.2 update ?
