It Maked My Lang Error :((
|
Hello,
If there is a "<>" (2 chars) in the subject the auto tagger will auto create a tag of "< >" (3 chars) which is clickable but leads to an invalid tag error page. -Raymond |
thx man ;)
|
Is there any way to remove the tags that are listed in forumdisplay? The ones that are right beside the thread titles?
|
Uninstalling too. Worked for a month and now it refuses to update the tags. Deleting tags deletes ALL of them, even user created! BEWARE!!!!!
|
It still just doesn't tag the RSS feeds. Works great otherwise.
|
This has completely destroyed our site. Most of the "top tags" now are threads with ONE tag. It has completely ruined the entire feature and I see no way of repairing it!
WATCH OUT!!!! |
HOW exactly did it do that? Did uninstalling do that? or did it do that while installed?
|
Sorry for beeing absent, I got a lot to do in RL. Will try to do regular support again from next week on.
|
Installed. Cheers.
|
Any update for 3.8?

I just found the option "Excluded Words" doesn't seem to work if they are tags. I want to include some tags but not all. So I guess the RSS options have some work. It's still a great mod though. I couldn't go without it.
|
you can easily add allowed words via admincp
|
I added words in the "Excluded Words" section but the were all included in the tags--and I meant in my last post the "prefixes", I wanted to include some prefixes but not all. So I added words to the "Excluded Words" section that were prefixes but they were still included.

NVM Figured out how to get it work

go into the xml and change the 3.7.99 to 3.8.1 and it should work OK.
|
that does work to allow you to install it but there in no admincp options to change :S
any idea why? |
Even if cron task is well activated, old discussions without any tag are not automatically tagged. Do you know why ?
Thankyou for your good job. vB 3.7.4 PL1 Last version of Autotag |

The mod is perfect, i've just found a point to improve:
I have configured the mod to ad tags to the user tags (if any added), and i noticed that the replacement characters only works on the tags created by the mod, but no on the user's one (excuse my english). For example: I have a replacement character rule: 'ó'=>'o' Users write in tags box: jamón And then submits (with ajax off), and when seeing the created tags, the replacement characters went fine on automatic tags, but ignored for the user word, so "jamón" stils like "jamón", instead "jamon". Is my fault or is something to do? Thank you. |

My log looks like this: 4191 Auto Thread Tagger 16:41, 03.12.2008 Auto Thread Tagger processed 0 threads. 4190 Auto Thread Tagger 16:37, 03.12.2008 Auto Thread Tagger processed 2 threads. But there are many more threads without tags. :( Edit: I think I got it… The default value of taglist is not '0' or empty it is 'NULL' maybe that makes the difference. :) So you should change the query in /cron/autotagger.php into this: PHP Code:
4200 Auto Thread Tagger 16:54, 03.12.2008 Auto Thread Tagger processed 3273 threads. 4199 Auto Thread Tagger 16:54, 03.12.2008 Auto Thread Tagger processed 500 threads. 4198 Auto Thread Tagger 16:53, 03.12.2008 Auto Thread Tagger processed 500 threads. |
Anyone got any ideas, I have done this from the other thread:
Using this to tag RSS feeds Unfortunately vBulletin does not include (that I can see) a hook that is called when an RSS thread is created. This means that it is not possible to hook into the code and perform auto tagging. All is not lost though, however it does require an edit to one of the default vBulletin files. This is what you need to do: Open includes/cron/rssposter.php Find the following line: Code: $itemdata->set('ipaddress', '');On a new line immediately after this paste in: Code: require_once(DIR . '/includes/functions_autotagger.php'); $autotags = GetAutoTags($itemdata->fetch_field('title'), "", true, $itemdata->fetch_field('forumid'), $feed['userid'], $item['rssfeedid']); $itemdata->set('taglist', $autotags);Save the file and place on you server. Once this is done, and you have enabled RSS tagging in the configuration then RSS threads will be tagged. But all I get in the tag box of an RSS feed thread is the word "Array" ,Thanks |
Is it possible to auto tag all threads im mu board? I have installed this modyfication, but i dont know how to do it. Can somebody help me?

I had to uninstall this product because it shows a javascript error "object required" line:380 car:8 every time I change the focus from Subject to Message input.
|
Please, DON'T EDIT YOUR FILES, as this is not necessary since v1.0.x. RSS are indexed automatically. See also this post for a fix for the newest beta:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=510 (thanks for MrNase!) If you get JavaScript errors by changing focus from subject to message revert your templates or just disable the AJAX-Tagging. |
I shut off the add the prefix in the tag and it's auto tagging them again.
