sunnycher 06-01-2009 03:11 PM

Mine was working fine, now all of the sudden no one, including Admins, have lost permission to view it.

Help?

BobbyT 06-02-2009 10:40 AM

Do we need v2.0 first and then use the v3.2 as an expansion ? Or only 3.2 is needed or fresh installation?

Criminal-Minds 06-03-2009 07:11 PM

Does anyone know how to re-arrange the user groups? I tried the <!-- Order="1" --> code in the title of the user group and it was a no go?

Anyone?

thanks

Almotmaiz.Net 06-08-2009 12:28 AM

Merhaba Hasan.
Ayrıca Profile Fields To Show In the Staff Page buradaki ayar ne işe yarıyor kısa bir açıklamasını yaparsan sevinirim.

philkillz 06-23-2009 06:08 PM

I get a parse error.

FeatheredFriend 06-24-2009 11:40 PM

I have followed all the instructions but I can't get anything to show up on my Meet our Staff page at all. Thanks!

larry suttles 07-12-2009 08:20 PM

I attempted to update and it's gone to crap..

Another phase error

Braddock 07-21-2009 05:52 AM

Could someone please help me? What is my problem here?
I tried the other staff.php on page 30, so the missing comma is inside.

Same problem here. Even Admins aren't allowed to view the staff page. I did a fresh install and checked the usergroup settings. Any fix for this ?

janpetterdale 08-21-2009 01:00 AM

Product installs fine, I get admin options and link to 'Meet our staff' display correctly.
However, when clicking the link it gives no permission error for everyone, including admins.

Using vbulletin 3.8.2

Ok, found the problem. I had to activate the show forum leaders function in vBulletin.

So far, everything works great. Only problem is, that users with secondary usergroup dont't show in the list. We have moderators with secondary usergroup "moderators". The group shows, i can see how much moderators are in this group but none shows up.

LOKIN510051 08-22-2009 05:44 AM

You will add it to your forum root folder.

goshalim 08-24-2009 06:08 PM

First of all thanks i did that but nothing is happening. I cant even find it in the vb settings !!! :-(

goshalim 08-24-2009 07:02 PM

I have unistall and install again from begining,
Now i can see it in the admincp but not in the forum.

Any ideas why and how to make it work please

blind-eddie 08-24-2009 07:11 PM

Re-read install instructions, you are missing something.
Also, check the Meet our staff settings in your admincp.
You can view the page at yoursite.com/staff.php or if you have a forum folder, yoursite.com/forum/staff.php

goshalim 08-24-2009 07:36 PM

Hi , thanks for the info

Its working i can see it , but only one category . Now, why i cant see it in the forum ?
Do i have to edit my self something a code to have like a navbar in forum ?

goshalim 08-24-2009 08:04 PM

So Iam lerning fast

On the default navbar is there and working perfect. On my othe templete is no where. Only if i add the oprtion to add it in quick links.

blind-eddie 08-25-2009 01:15 AM

I can't see your site to tell you where to add this.

In your "other" navbar template place the following lines where you want it to display.

If you have "Calender" in the other navbar template,

Find:

Code:

                <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[calendar]</a></td>

Add after:

Code:

        <if condition="$show['member']">
                        <tr><td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="staff.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[meet_our_staff]</a></td></tr>
                </if>

Note: Copy your template before you edit it, save it to a text doc on your desk top. You may need it if you make a mistake.

goshalim 08-25-2009 04:54 AM

Yer !!!! thanks its working again !!!!

2 small questions.

How can i dicrease the fonts from the words in the navbar ?

And also at the end of each forum its the phrase ( see forum leaders )
Where can i find this so i can change the link and add there to open , Meet our staff instaed of forum leaders.

Also how can i decrease the space between the titles in Navbar

My page is www.canarybreeder.net/up/forum

Code:

<a href="showgroups.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[view_forum_leaders]</a></if>

change showgroups.php to staff.php

Here you go.

Admincp/ Styles & Templates/Style Manager/ Click go next to the style your want to change navbar text size. scroll down to Navbar Text. Edit it there.

Quote:

They are centered, spaces will be equal.

goshalim 08-25-2009 05:56 AM

Thanks , again for your help.
Have you seen my navbar ? what can i do to fix it. It doesnt center , i tried everything and all possible codes.
The only option i can try is to make the fonts smaller and reduce the space between each title.
But of course i will need your help again ( please )

Your regular navbar looks fine, but your header navbar is off a bit. You will need to talk to the maker of that style.
You should start another Thread to discuss this, this is for Meet the staff discussions.

goshalim 08-25-2009 06:05 AM

Correct you are right.

kalisekj 08-27-2009 09:23 PM

Not sure if this has been asked before, But I would love to see HTML Enabled Capability. I have a Field with HTML in it for mods. This is yahoo pingbox enabling users to contact us via yahoo messenger, which would be great for the staff page.

Thank You,

Thank You,

Try this, with a lil editing, you can make this work..

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...=yahoo+pingbox

kalisekj 08-31-2009 03:07 PM

Thank you very Much! I have installed that feature and it works great on our profile pages.
But What I would also like is this Field or the Pingbox to show up on the Meet Our Staff page, so that users can instantly contact us if need be, for those of us that have a pingbox. Is This Possible to enable HTML on your Meet the Staff page?
BTW Great Mod and It has helped a lot as it is. Just wanted to give ya a suggestion for making it even better.

multiplex 09-02-2009 12:41 AM

i really like the look of this. very clean and eye catching. installed! working great on 3.8.2

is there any way to re-order the usergroups? i.e. not alpha order. i want to order by rank...i.e. superadmin, admin, supermod, mod....

blind-eddie 09-02-2009 01:03 AM

Yep, you can do that. It is posted in this thread a few times on how to do this...Happy searching!:D

Funny, I found what you are looking for on page #2 of this thread.

Look in your FORUMHOME template,

Find:

Code:

                        <if condition="$vboptions['forumleaders']">&nbsp; &nbsp;
                        <a href="showgroups.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[view_forum_leaders]</a></if>
                </strong></div></td>

Replace with:

Code:

                        <if condition="$vboptions['forumleaders']">&nbsp; &nbsp;
                        <a href="showgroups.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[view_forum_leaders]</a></if>

                        <if condition="$vboptions['forumleaders']">&nbsp; &nbsp;
                        <a href="staff.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[meet_our_staff]</a></if>
                </strong></div></td>

Note: You will see I edited the line I ask you to find & replaced it & added staff link.

I have an account that is in the Administrators group that I would prefer not be shown. Is it possible to exclude a single user from showing up?
