I am having an issue with this as well. I have been able to get the donate link to show up on my cmps_index page, however I am having the same problem as ddwgoose is. I don't know where to modify/change this:

Other issue that I am having is when I click on the donate button from my CMPS page it brings me to http://mysitecom/misc.php?do=donate

When I use the donation link from my forum the link works just fine. Link on my forum goes to http://mysite.com/forums/misc.php?do=donate

Updated via overwrite, now our donation bar shows 0% even though all the donations are still in the system confirmed.

Could any help guide me to the best way of using this mod where when a donation is made, the user is awarded an image under their username? I've got it setup now where their usergroup is changed and they have words donator under their username, I'm looking to change that to an image????

For the life of me, I can not get the Donate navbar link to work on the Vba CMPS homepage.

It always points to http://www.sanjiyan.co.uk/forums/misc.php?do=donate

I've put 'index,adv_index' in the Show DonBar on (comma separated THIS_SCRIPT locations) options.

But it still does not work.

Also the 'View Donations' etc on the drop down box/menu on the CMPS page also points to: http://www.sanjiyan.co.uk/forums/misc.php?

On the main forum page, it all works as it should.

I see that the developer is very active, and many people are asking this same question - but we are being ignored. It sucks, but I am going to have to uninstall this mod =./

I have this working fairly well, but the feature to add the donor to a Usergroup is not working. I confirm the donation but nothing happens with the user group.

Does it take a while for some cron job to run? Or perhaps the usergroup must be publicly joinable?

I am kind of stuck on this. Not a big deal while traffic is slow, but it could get to be a problem if donations become popular.

It sound like several other people have gotten the usergroup feature to work. I would sure like to know if there are any subtle things there. I am running 3.7.3 pl1

Is this hack supposed to be using PDT from PayPal? It seems like it would be much better if the transaction were automatically confirmed. As it is, the message board administrator needs access to the PayPal account, which may be contrary to the setup of the business running the board.

Great mod but it lacks the ability to set donation periods:
I.e.: Between Friday 13th, Feb to June 24th - Custom fund raising period

Does anyone know how this mod could be tweaked to incorporate a start and a end date?

Is there away to make this so that the donation expires, as in, someone sends say $5.00 in a months time that expires, and they go back to the register user group?

This Hack, IMHO, is more for open donations.

I have this installed and it's a great mod, but I'm still having trouble getting it to work properly in vBa CMPS. The link shows up in the header bar perfectly well, but the link is going to mysite.com/misc.php?do=donate rather than mysite.com/misc.php?do=donate. I've tried adding misc.php and misc.php?do=donate but either way it just doesn't pick up the link in the navbar. I followed the instructions to the letter, is there any other way to get the link working properly?

EDIT: Since posting this I realised I could just add the full URL to my navbar (I use double navbars so I've added the link to my second one). This works fine through both the forum and vBa. If anybody can give me a better way to add the link or a reason why I shouldn't add it this way I'll be happy to listen!

Hi, I have this mod installed for a long time and it is working fine (now on vB 3.8.1).

Still I have the problem that I cannot figure out how to show the donation bar on the donation site only. Whenever I activate it (not shown on index/forumhome) the donation bar appears on all pages using the misc.php (e.g. from the Cyb Statistics Module).

Even with the settings shown in the attachment the problem occurrs.

Any idea what to do so that the bar appears only on the donation site itself? Thank you very much!

Can this be customized with choice to "donate to site " and/or "donate to another member" to same paypal account with members name notification if chosen (donate to another member).

Or input line for description - that will be included in invoice/transaction

Can I use the donation status bar in one specific forum?

A donation expiration option for future release would be great cyb.

A workaround to help us earlier could be:
- In the Donations list (where you confirm and add to the vip group) add an option to remove from vip group. This saves all the manual removal time in the admincp.

Ok, I've got a question and I'm going to need some help on it.

Whenever a member goes to donate, it tells them they NEED a paypal account, but on other sites with this modification they can just use a CC without creating a paypal.

How do i do that?

What are the exact links to this because im using a custom style i dont have the exact links to like the admin link to aprove a member that donated and the main link to the donate mod. Thanks !

This may have been asked already, but how do I take out the option to collapse/hide the donbar?

This is really annoying. Doesn't seem to be any real support...

I've installed the mod, everything is working except the actual progress bar. I've checked me sql database, donations are showing in there but aren't being reported back tot eh module.

Please can someone help with this.

Cybernetic, I have made some changes to your script, specifically to allow recurring subscription and also updated the donation bar to calculate these.

Would you be willing to look at it, fix it or make it nicer and release it? Otherwise I might just release the changes myself as I know lots of people are wanting this.

I love the mod and have everything working great however the donation bar is not moving at all.

i have set the required amount to £150 and have had about £70 in donations so far but the bar is still showing 0%.

Could anybody point me in the correct direction to get this sorted??

Anyways, how would I go about changing the bar color? With my skin its hard to see the graphical form of the bar. I want it to show the background black, and the donated amount blue. Like below.

Well we finally got the donation bar to work and it is a problem with the wording in the ACP but now it's reporting the donations twice.

Please advise on how to fix this.

Sure.

If you scroll down the "Donor List" section of Cybs donation section where is says

"Statistics - Admins can view all, above groups can view" This implies that you do not have to add the admin in the above "Usergroups able to view Donor list (comma separated list of IDs)" field, but you actually do have to add admins there as well.

When we added our admin to this, our donation bar worked fine and our donations are back on track .

and how do i set it so non registered users can see it

ever since 2009 started, my donations have not been showing up. my last donation that showed up was dated 31-12-08. I checked the database table, and they are not being saved to the cybppdonate table. donations still go through, but they do not show in the table or list any longer.

is there some easy fix for this? or did paypal change the way they do things - i noticed that even if u choose an amount, when you go to the paypal page, it asks you to manually put in an amount - and we have to wait for a new version?
