I second this! Actually a box in usergroup management where you put in a number, if you put in 0 then its unlimited, and put any other number then thats how many invites the usergroup starts with, they can gain more by being more active on the site.

I found a way to hide the "Invite a Friend" in the navbar for guests/unregistered users.

First disable the Automatic Link Creation in the AdminCP->vBulletin Options->Invitation System.

Then in your navbar template add this where you want to put the link and edit your site name:

Also the link on my navbar, for this hack, on my vBa CMPS homepage does not work. When I do use the link on my forums page it takes me to the form, but does not have a message already there. When I send the custom message I type in, I get this error:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

bump - any news on the errors when ppl try to delete users? I'd like to install this, but not til that bug's been fixed...

I get this error as well when I delete. But the user is still deleted. Should i be concerned?

Just a question. Since this mod is used only by me as an admin to invite people, how can I remove the 100 invitation limit?

Also I've made the modification in the USERCP_SHELL Template but I've noticed that the link to the invitation system appears on all the users control panel's. I've set that only the administrator user group can send invitation and, in effect, when a user click on the invitation link he get a message telling him that he has not privileges.

Question is; how can I avoid that the link appear also on the users control panel? i would like that the link appear only in the administrator control panel.

Also I've noted that if "Show Invitation Link in User Control Panel?" is set to NO, the link appear and t should not appear.

Any suggestion?

I have set usergroup 1 (unregistered/guests) to be able to send invites, but if i log out and try it, i can't send any.

Currently the only way to change the limit is to go into each individual users profile in your admincp/users/search for users and change it. It is in the bottom left corner of their profiles. Good luck.

The error is only there when you delete a member, so it is not something you encounter daily. So therefore I guess that not everybody has seen this error, but as several people have encountered it in the last week, it seems a bug that anyone will encounter sooner or later.

On the recipient emails title, where it says From: they get Username @ domain wher can I change that? so I just leave the domain name?

Nice mod, but doesn't seem to support Re-Captcha. I can't get any invites send out.

Uninstalled for now until this is supported and the errors mentioned in previous pages are removed.

...still awaiting reply for whether i can or cant make the invitations unlimited.

Can anyone else confirm that this mod doesn't work with Re-Captcha? Seems fine with the other image verification modes though.

It's possible to modify the value inside the database but you need to use phpmyadmin or something like that...

Figured out that if anyone is having issues with ReCaptcha, it's due to vbulletin 3.71 working under PHP 4. There is a patch available.

having said that, i've removed this hack. It causes the following error when deleting members...

If you remove the mod, deleting members works fine again.
