I did steps 1 and 2, the chatbox shows up, but the message window just displays the text "loading..." and doesn't display any of the messages. Any ideas?

Found a little bug connected with option:
ChatBox always collapsed by default (ChatBox Full not affected)

When it is set to "Yes"
and you open the main forum's page
the collapse button showen is https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/07/39.gif (collapse_tcat.gif)

But must be showen https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/03/21.gif (collapse_tcat_collapsed.gif)

P.S. A little question about "Auto-prune setting".
Prune in this mode means delete?
So the message will be fully deleted if auto-pruned?

I would like to put a little banner at the right side of the chatbox box. The problem is that I really don't know where to edit the code to put my little banner. Anyone can help?

the problems is your server disable one of this functions
disable_functions dl,ini_restore,exec,system,passthru,popen,pclose,p roc_open,proc_nice,proc_terminate,proc_get_status, proc_close,pfsockopen,leak,apache_child_terminate, posix_kill,posix_mkfifo,posix_setpgid,posix_setsid ,posix_setuid,escapeshellcmd,escapeshellarg

on of them coz this problems

When I select a colur, it changes the color in my text box but when I submit my chat text it comes out like this: [color=LightPink] or [color=#000000] etc [color] :(

Any ideas anyone?

This is great thanks... You should add an add on to this called Private Chat, when a user clicks on an online user, a box comes up for them saying so and so wants to private chat, accept - decline... When they accept, a chatbox comes up in a new little window.

That would be really good.

I'm trying to get the chatbox to work in a file outside of vB (but inside the forum dir) yet nothing is happening, $cybchatbox doesn't work. What am I doing wrong???? Or in other words, what would say a php file (like chat.php) need to be able to use $cybchat in the template???

Hi Cyb --- great Mod. I only need this Mod for that dedicated page, i.e., the "misc.php?do=cchatbox" page.

I don't want it to appear anywhere else except when you click on a link to go to it since i'm using it for a chatroom.

how do i remove in completely from forumhome?

Make sure you didnt add the box manually in your templates without going into the VB options and choosing disable location.

Working good on 3.7 B6 except my W3C validator gives me an error saying that Darkgray is not a valid CSS character :( where can I remove this as I want my code perfect!

Great mod! Love it.

But I now have a problem after Vista updated to SP1. I cannot open the edit function. Says
Internet explorer cannot open the Internet site

Operation aborted

I didn't see this issue from anyone else but I am sure it will happen to some others.

Yep, I know about using Vista, but got a great deal on a nice new computer and it came with it.

Click the username in the 'Shout'. It's in the drop down menu.



Or go to Admin Panel> vBulletin Options> Cyb-Chatbox. Enter their user # in the field for banned users under 'Permissions.'

To make the font larger, I edited the template 'cyb_chatbox_bit'. I just took out the smallfont command.
