I agree, I need it for VBBlog, and I also dont understand what you do with that little bit of code in the options

Would also be nice to know how to center the vid like on the Scriptasy passiveVid Demo shown on this page, and how to get rid fo the youtube etc URL from showing above the video.

But most important is for it to work in VBBlog, without this function the code is not useful to me

Thanks

zikuta 12-09-2007 02:08 PM

Any progress adding DailyMotion? I really need it.

Thanks in Advance.

Adjani 12-09-2007 03:31 PM

Apart from uploading the bitfield_passivevid.xml and importing the product_passivevid file is there anything else that needs to done,
i just cant get this working; it shows in the AdminCP as installed and enabled
Do i just post the link or is there more to do in the thread, i just get doubled code or white boxs and extra code!

Cash offers to anyone that fix this for me :)

I`ve tried all the Video Hacks now, and they all give the same result
Browser setting  Something else
Just looged into my forum as a test user (rather than admin) and the links work fine:confused:

you must have conflicting mods... that is the only reason something like this would happen.

kind of hard to add support for things that i don't use myself. If someone decides to donate a temp account with those products installed i could get this done.

also its just HTML for the extra code options and placing two valuables in it wherever you want, cant get easier... if you cant do that then i suggest that you keep it disabled.

Not really sure why, but Live Leak isn?t exactly working as it should.

http://files.taragon.nl/2007/12/liveleak.jpg

PHP Code:

[url]http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=0bce791edd[/url]

Thanks a lot for everything else of course! It's a great addition to our board!

Ev!L ErN!E 12-09-2007 11:49 PM

Very nice mod!!

I have a question though, how do you get the box and title header like the videos posted on here: http://scriptasy.com/general-chat_27...-test_104.html

EDIT:

I can't seem to get Break.com videos to work
heres the url I'm using:

http://www.break.com/index/more-of-t...n-the-gym.html

when I go to youtube and cope the code I place it in a post in my site and noting changes. I may be doing something wrong Im not sure. Is there and other hacks know to make this one not work? or could it be a VBSEO setting messing it up?

Dark_Sirius 12-10-2007 11:38 PM

What about the possibility of an option in the UserCP that allows your membership to toggle if they want their links parsed or not?

you do know that your only supposed to use the URL to the site, not the embed code.

Thanks and appreciated! But still wierd...
I'll try to update tomorrow to 108/109, perhaps that'll do the trick.
I'll let you know if that 'll fix things.

Edit: it's working great with 108. Thanks again!

intporn 12-11-2007 10:36 PM

Thanks for a great product!

I would like to see youporn and invideo (http://www.blacklabelads.com/video/my_videos.php).

Is it possible for you to write a small guide on how we can add new video-sites, and then we can post the "hacks" here (and then you can add them the to the mod if you want to)...

greatthings 12-12-2007 12:39 AM

To Coders Shack:

RE VB with Blog: I changed password for admincp new password sent to you

Yes with these mods it would be perfection indeed. All other VB video plugins will instantly become dinosaurs in comparison to the Coders Shack passivevid

Was going to do a wordpress bridge, but now that passivevid will be working on the VBBlog won't be needing to : ) Just Super!!!

xtube is working fine for me, using urls like:

xxx://pcdnv4.xtube.com/watch_video.php?cv=9&idx=4&v=999oS5f282Q&cl=9yQgS0 kmDb0

ends up like:

xxx://www.intporn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2104

Anyway, it would be nice to see megarotic.com working as well...

greatthings 12-12-2007 12:35 PM

You got my MOTM vote, VBBlog vids work sweeto!!! Cheers : ) Cheers : ) and Cheers : )

pigsy 12-12-2007 02:01 PM

What effect does it have on page loading times? Am concerned, since it parses on the fly.

i have not noticed any significant impact.

SwollenCranium 12-12-2007 05:22 PM

What was supposed to have happened when I updated?

I've seen no change and no woking in VBA or Blog ?

Is it supposed to be automatic or is there a toggle in the control panel ?

you need the latest VBA, and vBlog only works in actual blog posts not comments. Getting it to work in vBlog comments is impossible without manual edits of the actual php files.

a few sites were left out of this mod because they do not initially support what im doing to get the embeds to work, dailymotion is one of them. If i have time i can apply the workaround i did for yahoo and break for dailymotion.

Animecraving 12-12-2007 09:18 PM

will this update able to fix the error when you view the user note?

MrApples 12-13-2007 12:37 AM

How about an option so it can be BBCode?

It shouldn't always emb. Like in the code or html tag, or when the periods are replaced with commas. What if we actually want to post just the URL? - or show people how to use this.

uses spaces or give them a screen shot. Its not worth recoding everything just to defeat the purpose of the mod.

I know you are getting flooded with compatability requests,

but you would be my hero if you made it compatable with

Dropshots. :)
